I was fortunate enough to be put under Dr.Rychel's care after an emergency gynecological situation arose about a year ago. A few months later I had to have surgery . I can't put into words how wonderful of a person and doctor she is. After my surgery I had some discomfort, as soon as she was out of her surgery with another patient she was by my bedside checking on me, and even changing my bandages herself. She is so kind, so welcoming and is never in rush to dismiss you. She listens to all your concerns, gives you all your options, and really does go above and beyond to take care of you. Her receptionist Jessica is also amazing, very on top of everything and very friendly and reliable. I highly recommend Dr.Rychel to any woman looking for an OB/Gyn . She is very knowledgeable and approachable. She goes above and beyond - she called me on a weekend after the test result came out to tell me what to watch for. I am grateful to have her as my OB. I highly recommend her to anyone who requires care.

I have been under the care of Dr. Rychel for about a year and have found her to be very knowledgeable, caring, taking the time to explain my options. I recently had a minor surgery, and she was took her time making sure I was comfortable. I would highly recommend this doctor to any woman who wants quality care. Her receptionist is extremely helpful and has gone out of her way to accommodate me with the surgery, even down to getting a date so I could still go on vacation. Very happy patient!

I had very bad experience after delivering my baby. Dr. Rachel just ignored my problem and refused to see me before six weeks after the delivery. I ended up in VGH Emergency Room with the surgery (that could be avoided if Dr.Rachel give me a treatment). All she worried about is to prescribe me oral contraceptives.

She is very caring, understanding, kind doctor. I had fear of an exam, she explained to me step to step the procedure and she was very gentle during it. I didn't feel anything. she is a great doctor. I wish we had more doctors like her.

I was struggling with an ongoing Bartholin's gland cyst for a while and was referred to Dr. Rychel by my GP. Thank God Dr. R is such a kind and soft-spoken person/doctor - she made a minor yet scary, in-office surgery seemed like a breeze. I was relieved from the pain...very thankful for her help!!! Bonus - her receptionist is also very nice & polite!

Warm, gentle and knowledgeable, doctor Rychel made me feel less nervous and scared, I felt safe and cared for. If I ever need a gynecologist, I will definitely insist to be referred to her.

Very happy with dr. Rychel during my pregnancies. She was very gentle, calm and skilled during my first delivery. My only regret is that she didn't deliver my second baby which had complications- which i believe she could have dealt with better. Make sure st. Paul"s staff phone her right away! Too bad she isn't a GP as I would love to have her as a family doctor.

Dr. Rychel is my OB and has be managing my prenatal care. I love her! She's smart, takes her time, and is willing to answer all my questions. Sometimes you may have to know what to ask (it's not always volunteered) but I like that she doesn't totally coddle me. Also, she's got a great sense of humour! Very glad I found her. The staff (nurse and reception) are absolutely fabulous as well. :) Yes, you may have to wait for ten minutes on occasion - certainly not every time. It's well worth it, and it is because she's TAKING CARE OF her other patients, rather than rushing through.
