Best family Dr I've ever had. Sport medicine knowledge is excellent as well. Great office staff also . Going on 10 yrs I believe.

Dr. DuToit has been our family doctor for 13 years. I seldom to almost never, have to sit in his waiting room for more than 5 mins. If he doesn't know the answer to what is wrong with me, he will look it up/research till he has an answer and solution. That's why I gave him 5 stars for knowledge. Sometimes he says "let's wait and see if the condition changes". Which is why I gave hime a rating of 4 for helpfulness. He lets me speak and ask questions. He listens. He seems genuinely pleased when I understand what he's telling me, and I understand his diagnosis and treatment because he presents it in a way that makes it understandable. He is respectful, patient, gentle and thorough. His office staff, although efficient, are very abrupt. I don't go to the doctor to see them though, so I tolerate them.

I have been seeing Dr. Du Toit for several years now and I think he is awesome. Always very polite, helpful, explains everything thoroughly, listens and never rushes through my appointment and he has a great sense of humour! A very gentle and caring Dr. I hope he stays in the Maple Ridge area for a long time to come. The office staff are always polite and friendly as well.

Not impressed , sent my child to a specialist Dr that doesn't deal with kids . Diagnosed a kid with something children don't get . There are so many other things he has said were something and were not even close to what ended up being wrong it's just tragic.

I have been going to Dr. DuToit for 7 years and as someone who works in the medical profession I can tell you he is one of the best!!! He is always on time and his staff are excellent. He is caring and listens to you. He is never in a rush and gives you his full attention. He is open to listening to any natural therapies and he is interested in finding the cause and the cure for your problem and not simply giving you a band-aid solution. We need more doctors like him:)

I was the one that wrote on 11/05/09 and boy, have I seen a change in him! I've seen him recently and in the 1st app't, it was with my daughter. He was great. In the 2nd it was myself and he was quite short with me, refused a referral and was quite curt. Very unexpected and I left wondering if he was just having an off day (which still shouldn't ruin his professional day) or if something had changed and this is what we'll now be getting. I sure hope not as he has always been wonderful! Although, you now can't get in to see him before a week. On an a good note, seems his grumpy receptionist is gone. Just really nice women there now : )

The best GP in British Columbia. Always helps me with everything in a very supportive and empathetic manner - rare in this province. The staff are great!

I have dealt with this doctor over several years while accompanying my elderly in-laws to appointments. His manner is very gentle and kind. I particularly appreciate that he made a house call when the situation required it. Not something he normally does but it speaks volumes about him as a caring physician.
