Ratings for Dr. Jennifer Tomlin
4.4
Seen her twice in ER over the years and has been the most kind and understanding, very helpful in any concerns that you may have under a stressful situation.
I saw Dr Tomlin in the NYG emerg after being referred from the Branson for a head CT, due to headaches. The wait time was brutal for the head CT, but that is to be expected when you're a walk-in with no appointment. When I did see Dr Tomlin she was polite, professional and helped me understand my condition. She prescribed Toradol and Nasonex to treat what I learned was a sinus infection. The Toradol worked wonders in the short term. Unfortunately the Nasonex didn't have the desired outcome. She was hesitant to prescribe antibiotics, which I didn't disagree with at the time. My headaches were significantly reduced temporarily due to Dr Tomlin's treatment. I later received an ENT referral from my family physician, in which I was diagnosed with Nasal Polyp Disease. There was no mention of polyps on my head CT so I can only assume Dr Tomlin was never aware of their existence. My experience with Dr Tomlin was positive and if I need to go to emerg again, I'd have no quarrels being seen by her again.
I saw Dr. Jennifer Tomlin, in her capacity as a Family Doctor/ G P., several times over the last year. Every encounter was pleasant, informative, and result oriented. The follow up was exemplary.
The very best ER doc ever! Diagnosis and treatment were 100%. I would trust her with my life!
Fast, efficient, friendly and provided a diagnosis that was 100% correct. Had me diagnosed, prescribed and back on the street within 15 minutes of initial evaluation . Most impressive - the diagnosed problem was not at all what I had guessed was the issue when I checked myself into emergency.
Technically sound check! Compassionate and caring if you consider a one cell organism to be so then yes. Provided an incomplete diagnosis despite being prompted several times about a sharp pain in addition to the deep cut which was treated with 4 stitches.
Best ER doc ever. Sympathetic and caring, she checked on me several times after admittance and her diagnosis was absolutely correct. Would recommend this doc to anyone in the ER.
Dr. Tomlin is the most caring doctor I have ever encountered in my few visits to the ER. She was attentive and spoke to me in layman's terms.....her diagnosis and subsequent treatment was 100% bang-on. I would hope that should I need ER care at NYGH in the future, I would be fortunate enough to have her as my ER doctor. Extremely satisfied in ALL respects with both Dr. Tomlin and NYGH.
