What an absolutely lovely human. Dr. Romano is kind, compassionate, and incredibly attentive. It is immediately clear that he truly loves what he does and takes a genuine interest in every patient he sees in the ER. My mum has been treated by him twice now, and both times he has been an absolute gem—patient, reassuring, and thorough during what can be very stressful moments. His calm and caring presence made a world of difference for our family. We are so grateful for doctors like Dr. Romano, and the healthcare system truly needs more physicians like him.

Had to go to Sunnybrook hospital (emergency after severe allergic reaction) Dr. Romano was super down to earth, relaxed (my throat was closing and I was on a few adrenaline shots that got me anxious) empathetic and extremely professional and knowledgeable. I understand doctors treat so many patients every day so it's very easy to lose care & desensitizatize yourself from your patients. Thank you Dr. being staying such a good human. This means all for us who visit you! I can only wish everyone experience such care one day if the visit the ER.

Today I visited the emergency department at Sunnybrook Hospital with severe pain due to kidney stones, and I was incredibly fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Michael Romano. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion made a challenging experience much more manageable. Dr. Romano took the time to listen, explain each step of the process, and provided the reassurance I needed. His empathy, patience, and dedication to his patients’ well-being are truly exceptional. I was in emergency at Sunnybrook yesterday for about 13 hours. I was very fortunate to have Dr. Romano assigned to me. Very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable , humble human being. I am a 75 year old man and I rate him as number 1 doctor experienced in my life. God Bless you and your family. Amen.

I was lucky to intersect with Dr. Romano as a patient at Sunnybrook ER today very early morning (at 5 am); it was his night shift. Many already noticed his outstanding qualities as a person and medical professional. I would just like to add he is one of the model doctors I met in my 64 years...  Yes, we had a chance to laugh even though I came there with chest pain.
