I have, as well as each member of my family have been treated by I imagine all Dr.'s who work at the facility. I LOVE the fact that unless you need an x-ray, or urine sample, you remain in a clean room, away from everyone else's germs. We receive the finest of care, on site immediate lab work, (I've had to have IV's and they gave me warm blankets as I rehydrated). They also sent someone to drive to another facility for some test results. If I could have any of these Dr.'s , facilities and staff as my primary physician, I would. And I have asked, I can't. Also, there is an on site pharmacy to fill any prescription needs we may have. Great Job.

All of the regular doctors that staff this clinic are all Emergency Medicine Physicians... The clinic is equipped to accomidate (sp?) most any non-emergency, and even some emergency, case that walks through their doors... I have been a patient, when I needed to see a doctor but couldn't see my primary care physician, for one reason or another, since this urgent care clinic first opened up. At one time, in one visit, or another; I have been treated by all of the clinic's "main" doctors. I can't think of one negative thing that I could say about Urgent Care Northwest in Jasper, Alabama! While I have taken note, when I was seen very late in the day, that maybe one of the doctors was tired, but even then I couldn't have asked for a better doctor!!! The clinic is equipped with excellent lab and X-ray facilities which they utilize to properly diagnose your condition. Though, I have never got the impression that test were ordered that weren't really necessary. They only order test when it's really medically necessary! In addition to the M.D. or D.O. physician on duty, the clinic also employees Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants that work with the M.D. or D.O. on duty. This aids in keeping wait times down to a minimum. However, if you are seen by a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant, they still go over, in detail, your case with the M.D. or D.O. on duty and the physician him or herself comes in to examine you and, depending on what's wrong with you and many other factors, this may be a short exam and visit or more involved and detailed... The bottom line; I would trust the physicians and staff at Urgent Care Northwest in Jasper, Alabama with most any ailment that I had! I recommend them HIGHLY!!! Compared to the other "after hours" options for medical care in the Jasper, Walker County, Alabama area, that's available in the area after "regular" doctor's office hours; I'd give Urgent Care Northwest 5/5 (5 out of 5 Stars) and the other "after hours" type clinics in the area 2/5 (2 out of 5 Stars)!!!!! {NOTE: I have PERSONALLY been treated not only at Urgent Care Northwest, but also at the only other "after hours" type clinics in Walker County... So, my reviews above as well as my comparisons, are based on my own PERSONAL experiences, as a patient, being treated at ALL of the "after hours" type clinics, in Walker County, like; Urgent Care Northwest...}
