Great staff, fast to respond to calls, comfortable rooms

Over all I think the in-paitent care was great. ER quite slow but nice. Over all needs as and in-paitent were addressed rather quickly. I get nervous and the staff even stayed with me in the room when my care-giver needed a break.

I took my husband in Emergency early 2014, where he was diagnosed with a chronic disease. I have been meaning to rate this hospital but just got preoccupied with his care. Busy night and waiting room was packed, every now and then a Caucasian male nurse with an accent would announce how busy the Emergency Room was that evening. He finally called us in but my husband's room wasn't ready yet so he made us stand in the hallway. We stood there in front of a patient who was drunk and yelling. Rather than diffusing the situation, the Caucasian male nurse, who later I found was the supervisor named Sergi started getting into a war of words with this patient. Yelling at the drunk patient and telling the other nurses how this patient comes into their hospital a lot and abuses the system. Then he scolded the people in blue uniform that brought the patient and asked them why they couldn't go to another hospital. I was petrified by the way Sergi was acting, very unprofessional for a supervisor. Plus what happened to patient confidentiality. He blurted out information about the patient in the hallway. As things escalated between this drunk man and Sergi, more and more nurses gathered around. I think he even forget about us. Just before he took us to the room, he yelled to the patient "Mr. ____, you're an a**hole!!!" (it won't let me type the actual word he used). I contacted the management once, got transferred to a voicemail, left a message but no one returned my phone call. My husband and I were petrified. After his hospitalization there, we never returned.

They are a little too expensive, but the service is First Class.
