Raleigh General Hospital

I wouldn’t send a dying dog to this hospital. I went into er thru ambulance. 8 weeks pregnant and bleeding, it took them 2 hours just to come in and do blood. I could be losing my child, right? I called my OB and he demanded that I walk out and come into his office. He was so upset that, this hospital didn’t get me in and get an ultrasound right away. Another time, I took my daughter. She has symptoms of being lethargic. They gave her antibiotics and sent her home. I followed up with her pediatrician and he laughed and got upset when I told him I took her to RGH. My daughter was rushed to W&C and was pulled with antibiotics for cellulitis. I wouldn’t go to this hospital if it was the only one in the world. #boycottrgh

BEDBUGS. NON RESPONSIVE NURSES AND The tv's are like 13inches? Realistically maybe 20'. But Could hardly see them.

My son has sit here 7hours in the ER waiting on a CT and they are just walking around and talking about there familys and pets. Terrible place and staff is rude. What a joke

One, Grandpa walk in, wheeled out because they mept him doped up as to not deal with him, caused double pneumonia and killed him. Two, toe and partial foot amputation due to the foot plate surgery. Three docs released her same day as two kept her , absolutely looks like a two year old sewed and stapled her foot up. We had to call the hospital just to get a nurse in the bathroom to get mom out of there, call buttons useless.

Care received was excellent and even the meals were well prepared.

Unorganized, the staff could careless about patients family. Gave patient medication was on allergy list

My mother went In with extremely high blood pressure and pulse (stroke levels) and was waiting in waiting room for over 7+ hours with many other suffering from such as possible stroke, lung tumor and gasping for air, and none of the staff has any sense of urgency or care what’s so ever. Never checked my mothers BP until I said something to front desk, who advised me to go find the nurse myself.. bizarre and scary place.

Lower staff not bad but has no concept of time. I push the emergency call button and maybe someone will come in an hour or two.

The nursing care on the medical floor at this hospital is far superior to that received at BARH. It seems the nurses here have fewer patients and spend more time with each patient. Also my brother was in ICU here for almost 2 weeks and received great care.

Very poor care. Dirty, nurse stole my pain medication, unfamiliar with who my physician actually was assigned to me, poor communication, etc.
