Inpatient nurses are rude, uncaring, and extremely slow to respond to requests when in severe pain. I had 6 different nurses & only 1 was a delight, and actually cared about her patients.

his is the worse hospital for emergency services we waited 2 hours and finally left a world war 2 vet also waiting for 2 hours he was upset nurse told him his room was almost ready REALLY!!!! NOT They have to clean room and drapes they said that's whats taking so long. Than once you get in the room another long wait this is not acceptable. This hospital should be ashamed of the poor quality of service, a restaurant can take care of people better than is hospital. If you don't have enough staff to clean rooms and drapes than you need to hire more people

I stayed overnight twice in 2017 for the replacement both knees. I have no real complaints, except that discharge was a bit slow the second time. The staff is great.

Banner Health is hands down the WORST healthcare provider I've ever dealt with. I am now almost 12 months goIng through a billing dispute with this company for services I was billed for that were never part of my treatment, tests I never received nor would have been necessary, and medications not administered or necessary. I have gone through their billing audit process, which is a joke. No one in a myriad of departments will return calls. Everyone swears up and down they will help, but the customer service is non existent. If you ever have a baby there, beware that according to their director of women's services, the nurses will make errors in your chart because they don't chart things for several hours after the fact and get confused. All well and good, but their confusion doesn't earn Banner Baywood a $2,000 financial windfall for fraudulent charges. I have ongoing complaints against their billing practices with multiple government agencies, and Banner is stonewalling that as well. This is the problem with healthcare in America. Lots of administration and management with their hands involved, yet no one is accountable or can resolve a problem. Stay away from this facility, and any other Banner facility. The nurses and treatment you receive are all well and good, but the entire experience is a nightmare once you are discharged.

Two times now Banner Baywood has saved my life. I trust them and the doctors with my life as they discovered a Pulmonary Embolism and treated me for it. I will always go to them over other local hospitals.

Found a dead insect floating in my Mom's water , disorganized and poor communication between departments and accessing patient records despite numerous admissions and history available, poor or absent discharge planning , unavailable or long waits if social worker needed, long response time for life threatening event such as CVA despite frequent advice to bring patient quickly in for care, disability parking very limited for a medical facility , inattentive to basic patient care : elimination, oral care, bathing .Care staff do not check for restrictions before attempting to get a patient out of bed posing increased fall risk

A facility with too many incompetent employees. There are mistakes that do occur, but then there is outright gross negligence...and Banner Baywood has way too much of this.

slow slow slow and communication is worse. Very rude. My husband was a patient at Banner Heart and it was outstanding... then this 'step down unit' is exactly right --- step down to the basement of patient care. Go to Banner Gateway or Mercy Gilbert!
