Woodstock General Hospital

My husband had day surgery and not only was it pain free, but the surgical team were most helpful answering all our questions, sending us home with literature, AND a signed thank you card from Cheryl, Sandy,Nicole and Chris. YOU are the ones who MUST be thanked.

Just had surgery at WGH and had to spend a couple days there. Fantastic caring staff. Nice private room that was very clean. Great prep and O/R staff. Believe it or not the food was great. I mean great. Hot when I got it and had large portions and variety. Fantastic job WGH!

The care given my brother is beyond amazing He is a heart patient and was attended to as soon as he arrived. The nursing staff is awesome

It is so scary to have what is Essentially at best a walk in clinic.. l have been to hell and back for them to turn me away after a botched surgery in Toronto. Had to drive myself only to have been told l should have been air ambulances there and if l was lucky l had maybe a couple of hours left to live.. truly truly a horrible experience which almost cost me my life.

Doctors at Woodstock hospital DNT care n DNT take the time to actually help. you actually have to drive to another hospital to actually get help that's ridiculous

I went to emerg stating I’d been sober for a really long time, was receiving new medication from a psychiatrist and it was triggering my addiction to the point where I felt I needed to see a different doctor in the inpatient unit. They told me that they don’t deal with people like me. ‘Emerg doctors job is to stop an overdose. What do you want me to do?’ I argued with him until I had to leave. Called the inpatient unit myself and asked to be admitted. I was told that the emerg doctor had already cleared me so I should be fine. STOP telling addicts or people struggling with mental health to go to this hell hole.

Horrific experience. Went with extreme pain from a UTI. After waiting in agony for three hours and after telling them my level of pain was at ten I started to leave and then was given medication. If I have any need to visit an emergency room again I will not go there.

Youll be waiting hours, I went in with a dislocated shoulder and waited hours to be seen by a rude dismissive doctor. Do not come here, even if youre dying.

The hospital itself is great. But the trailor who gives covid tests has a nurse giving the test who insists the swab stay up to your brain for 7 seconds. She has no empathy for those of us who have severe pain from this test.

I like our new hospital, and have had no issues the few times I'd found myself in need. As I've been fully covered by OHIP, I don't feel qualified to gauge value exactly, so on the whole I'm quite satisfied. It would be advantageous to have more staff doctors available, but in these times I gather the same can be said for about all medical facilities
