Met Dr. Tong for the first time recently and was really impressed that she took the time to discuss and review my current medication with me even though I have already been on it for a year now. I was expecting just a quick visit for a prescription but she took the time to make sure it was appropriate and to discuss possible alternatives.

Not a fan of Dr. Tong. Saw her once at UBC and will keep it at once. Not friendly, no follow-up and basically didn't come across like she cares much. If I had to see her for stitches or something that would be okay but not for anything else.

I really like and respect Dr. Tong at UBC Village Clinic. She's extremely helpful, uses her laptop to explain those disease names that you'd have never heard of. She never speaks conclusively, but considers other possibilities and takes time to do testing if necessary.

By far one of the worst doctors that I have been to in the past decade and even worse staff! The staff are so rude and disrespectful (UBC location) and the doctor herself is terrible. She will not listen to what you tell her and keeps doing things her own way without taking the patients concerns into consideration. She forgot to give me the requisition form for an ultrasound and the staff won't email it to me and wants me to physically go there again for a form. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional , I highly recommend seeing another doctor.

Had a very bad experience with Dr. Tong yesterday! She was very rude to me and made me feel terrible. I came out of her office crying for a good 15 minutes after talking to her because of the way she made me feel. She would not listen to anything I said and kept asking me medical information terms which she should already know, I would really avoid going to see her and visit another doctor instead.

Terrible doctor. Condescending, not willing to listen to your concerns and requests and does things her own way. I waited in like for 90 minutes to see her, such a waste of time. Avoid her at all costs!!!

visited many times at UBC to see Dr. Tong, past visit, was the worst and most frustrating. I was treated with no concern or follow up for my symptoms to which nothing was working for over 9 days. also a previous referral was taken with no urgency given the staff made an error and nothing was done for over a year now! poor practice in how to treat your patients, better bedside manner and kindness would go a long way. being a Dr. is a great thing, only if you are able to be knowledgeable and helpful and find solutions. google was a better help than this visit. will not be returning to her again in the future.

Excellent doctor. Saw her at the UBC village walk in clinic and she was extremely thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. I always appreciate a doctor at a walk-in clinic who takes the time to make sure all bases are covered. Great doctor.
