This Doctor ran away with her tail between her legs. Run Vanessa run! Worse Doctor in the world!!

I went to see this Dr next thing i know she remove my drivers licence and had my PAL revoked I am not a fan if this Doctor

I met Dr. Kriek during an appointment with an elderly family member to discuss a diagnosis of dementia. We found her to be very compassionate, understanding and patient working through the questions with my mom-in-law. We left feeling like we had a doctor whose priority was our well-being. Thank you Dr. Kriek.

Took my issues seriously. Was kind, compassionate and ordered various tests to get to the bottom of it. The medical system is under stress and I appreciate the care I received despite the stress doctors must be under.

I was referred to Dr. Vanessa Kriek by my GP. Other than some challenges with the ridiculous automated and antiquated telephone system at the Atwood clinic (not her office specifically), the initial appointment was comfortable, thorough and she explained every little thing as she went along. The second appointment was at the hospital, where she performed a small procedure with care, attention to detail and compassion. She personally followed up with a phone call 10 days after that. I don't expect doctors to be friendly or giddy or ask questions about my life that don't pertain to the treatment of whatever I'm there for. Having said that, I found her personality to be lovely; friendly but ultra professional. I would not hesitate to return to her for care, and would send family and friends to see Dr. Kriek. This is coming from someone with a fairly severe fear of doctors, in general.

Dr. VANESSA KRIEK has been awesome. DR. V. Kriek listens and is thorough. Dr. listens to even the smallest concerns. I have no complaints.

Dr. Kriek bends over backward to help as many patients as possible at a time when we are in crisis with such a shortage of Doctors. Thanks so much for taking time to assist me.

Dr.Kriek has been nothing but disrespectful to me from the moment i’d met her. She has relentlessly been very judgmental about everything i had told her about my personal life, and has not hesitated to be vocal about it (even stating that recreational marijuana use would give me schizophrenia!!!). I asked her for help with my debilitating chronic pain (which occasionally makes it difficult to even walk) and she sent me to an online support group. NO follow up with anything about it, NO recommendations were made, and NO referrals were even suggested. She is the most useless Doctor i have ever known to exist and i’m very upset to have ever had to continue seeing her after our initial meeting. Also, i feel as though if a doctor is going to call you an hour and a half AFTER your appointment time, the receptionist should give you some kind of warning, as that’s an unreasonable amount of time to have to wait. Also, one time i had been told i’d need to wait to make an appointment (and would receive a call back to do so, which never happened) so that the receptionist could talk to her about when she would like to see me because the receptionist had to ask what part of my menstrual cycle i was supposed to be on to see her..? That honestly doesn’t make sense and shouldn’t even be an option. 95% of the experiences i’ve had have been disgraceful.

My family absolutely loves Dr kriek, we are very happy with her. She actually will investigate problems we are having, she is not a brush off dr. However her front seat receptionist that answers calls is HORRIBLE. she is so rude, never smiles and clearly is ready for retirement.

She is a great doctor for women, does not rush through appointments and helped me long term health goals and maintenance.
