I can honestly state that I LOVE every member of Dr. Theodore Gristles’ staff and the Man himself! Each and every member of Lexington Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is pleasantly detail oriented in making the experience successfully memorable. I’ll try not to be too graphic about my ailment… I presented with a non-cosmetic need for the removal of a mass on my residual limb that had been bleeding and expressing fluid for over 10 months which had prevented ease in ambulation for years. After being denied treatment by 12 other physicians, I was blessed to find Dr. G-Man! (“Dr. G-Man” A pet name I use with his permission.  ) He saw the obvious conditions, was the FIRST to genuinely listen to my concerns AND showed great compassion with expertise. What’s even MORE amazing; he agreed to and performed the most perfect resolve to this matter using a method of prevention for future occurrences recommended by myself, the patient. He reassured me that if my recommendation wasn’t sound, he wouldn’t do it, giving me peace of mind. The end result is magnificent pain reduction, increased mobility with a hardly detectable scar! I visited Dr Gerstle’s office to find a way to get rid of the wrinkles in my cleavage. He and his friendly staff made me feel at ease right away. The vampire micro blading did the trick. No more wrinkles I can’t believe it! Five star all of the way!

I’ll give them this.. the staff is super nice. Too bad after my revision and wound opening (again) he completely ignored signs of infection. Went to a 10am appointment and was told my wound was “looking great” and “I’d be so shocked in 2 weeks at my results” (heard that line every week for over a month) only to end up in the ER 6 hours later septic. I spent a week in the hospital, had to have my entire abdomen washed out, and then spent 2 weeks at home with a picc line and more antibiotics. Never heard from Dr. Gerstle again after that 10am appointment. My abdomen looks horrible. My nipples are uneven.I had multiple doctors tell me while I was admitted that if I had waited even 1 more day to come in that I would have been in multi-organ failure. So, no I definitely wouldn’t recommend going to this office. As a nurse I look back at pictures of my large open wound and think why did I listen to this guy for so many weeks before seeking other treatment?? Save yourself the risk and look elsewhere.

Dr. Gerstle Removed my antique, damaged breast implants and gave me the smallish, perky breasts I had as a teen. The upside is, no need for a bra!! Also, the price was right. He is easy going and kind. The staff is Aces, everyone of them. I could not have wished for a more positive experience!

This was my second procedure done by Dr. Gerstle and his wonderful staff. I had the bags and wrinkles around my eyes removed.
