Ratings for Dr. Seyed Hosseini
I was surprised that doctors like Dr Hosseini could be as openly dismissive, and condescending as my experiences with him, however, reading these comments makes me realize that it is apparently the way that he operates. He started out fine, saying the right things but you quickly realize the only aim is to get your file off his desk. You are a file number, not a human being, unworthy of his time or care.
Lack of Interest towards patient, Very badly behaved so not recommended
I've been a patient of Dr Hosseini for over a year. I find him to be knowledgeable, takes the time to explain what he's recommending and is really good about follow up. Highly recommend.
Dr. Hosseini wa very kind and knowledgeable in diagnosing my issue as Hynic headaches and providing helpful treatment. I trust Dr Hosseini and would highly recommend. P.S. i am suspect of those providing negative reviews since we are only provided with one side of the story
I am writing to express my concerns regarding Dr. Hosseini’s professional conduct during a recent appointment with my husband. I felt that Dr. Hosseini was unprofessional and dismissive, as he appeared irritated and did not respond to my questions. I was particularly disappointed in the way he handled my husband’s neurological needs; despite the long wait for this appointment, he seemed uninterested and even suggested that we seek another provider. I believe that patients deserve a respectful and attentive approach, especially when dealing with neurological issues. I am disappointed in Dr. Hosseini's practice and feel that he did not provide my husband with the necessary attention or care. Due to this experience, I am considering submitting a formal complaint to the College of Physicians to address these concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Hosseini to others in need of compassionate neurological care
I've been to Dr Hosseini twice for a neurological condition, he is one of the kindest most caring doctors I have ever been to. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I went to see him in the fall of 2023 because I was losing my balance and my doctor referred me to him because she thought I likely had MS . He sent me for many tests and found no sign of MS. I also have some rather severe long covid symptoms and he never once made me feel like it was all in my head. He listened carefully to everything I said and he is still following me, trying to find something that will help with my symptoms.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of seeking medical assistance from Dr. Hosseini, a neurologist who, regrettably, left me feeling abandoned and frustrated after a stroke. My encounter with Dr. Hosseini was nothing short of disappointing, instead of taking the time to explain my condition and potential treatment options, he left me with unanswered questions and a sense of confusion. Despite being aware of the severity of my condition, he failed to schedule any follow-up appointments or recommend a comprehensive treatment plan. This lack of proactive care left me feeling neglected and without the support, I desperately needed during such a critical time in my life. In my opinion, a healthcare professional, especially in the field of neurology, should prioritize patient well-being, communication, and support. Unfortunately, Dr. Hosseini fell short on all these fronts, and I cannot in good conscience recommend his services to others in need of compassionate and dedicated neurological care. In conclusion, my experience with Dr. Hosseini was deeply disappointing, and I would advise anyone considering his services to explore alternative options for their neurological care. It is crucial to find a healthcare provider who not only possesses the necessary expertise but also demonstrates genuine concern for the well-being of their patients, a quality that, unfortunately, I did not find in Dr. Hosseini.
We visited Dr. Hosseini for the first time yesterday. My husband has suffered with Narcolepsy since he was in his teens and it's been a challenge for him to remain alert during the day, and particularly in the evening. He has been taking Ritalin for over 30 years, but his condition has deteriorated with age and the current dosage is not as effective as it may have been when first prescribed. We were referred to Dr. Hosseini to determine if there may be an alternate therapy for his condition. We were introduced warmly and he proceeded with genuine concern and a resolve to provide quality patient care. He immediately referred to a newer medication that is difficult to obtain, but he assured us that he will try to access it if at all possible. He treated us with respect and compassion, and we would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Hosseini.
