Dr. Attalla is the best doctor on earth! A truly compassionate person who makes each patient feel heard and special. He is extremely generous with his time - providing me hour-long weekly one-on-one zoom therapy sessions all through the pandemic - seriously what family doctor does that?! I have Dr. Attalla to thank for truly changing my life and the way I see myself and those around me. The world is better because he is in it and though I am so sad he moved to Ontario, I am grateful for all the ways in which he improved my physical and mental health :)

The best family doctor I had. I had my last phone call appointment with him today and I have been seeing him since 2018. Definitely a bitter sweet feeling that he’s moving to Toronto as he will no longer be my family doctor but at least he will be surrounded by his family. I absolutely enjoyed working by his side during my preceptorship at Chinook Mall Medical Clinic and I loved being his patient even more. Dr. Attalla genuinely cares for his patients and knows how to be patient with them. He is also my mental health therapist. It felt so natural to open up and talk to him about anything as he never made me feel judged and which is why I have trusted him for years. He has a good sense of humour but obviously towards a handful of patients that reciprocate the same energy. I recommended my sister, my partner, and my partner’s sister to see him as they all needed a GP at the time and they all absolutely loved him as well. You never felt rushed during your appointments (which was probably why he was backed up sometimes as I understand a lot of patients would come see him and talk/ask a lot during their appointment. If he’s ever “late” for your appointment just keep in mind that it’s not him. He would always show up to work on time and it’s the appointments that hold him back. Whenever I was sick and came to see him, he would always have a possible solution of what may help me get better (rather than some doctors who neglect their patient’s and tell them all they need to do is have a hot shower and drink lots of water). It was always so nice to see him during my appointments. Dr. Attalla would come in the room with a smile on his face EACH TIME and when I walk out of the room, I would have that smile on my face. Anyways, wrapping this up, 1000000/10 GP, absolutely NOTHING negative I can think of about him. Hope you’re always doing well Dr. Attalla :) - your best friend

Dr Atalla simply is the best family doctor in Calgary.

I had surgery in Feb .of this year and i would phone the surgeons office and the response that I would get from them was , we can't see you for a couple of months . I was in so much pain ,at that point I didn't know what to do .....So I called Dr.Attalla and he saw me right away ,and he fixed my problem within a couple of weeks . He knew right away how to treat my 6 months of suffering . HE is an excellent doctor .

Dr. Attalla is one of a kind, genuinely a caring professional who has gone above and beyond in answering my health related questions. as well as always being helpful and humble enough to request a specialist if needed. He's been my GP for 3 years now and I've never felt anxious/pressured to go for a check up/potential anomaly.

Dr Attala is my family doctor and therapist. He is an amazing doctor and person. I was very lucky to find him in 2018 when I moved to Calgary and was going through a difficult time in my life. In my therapy session Dr. Attala has helped me to see that I "will be ok with or without" the things that can cause me anxiety and depression. His calm and non judgmental personality make him a doctor like no other. I am very thankful for his time helping me to become a better person.

Dr Attalla is an amazing doctor. He made me feel seen, really listened to me and made it obvious that he really cares about his patients and sees them as a complete individual, not a list of their problems. His holistic approach is one I've never encountered in a western medical office. He brings a compassion, patience and wisdom to his practice that really elevates him above most in his field. I truly think the world would be a better place if his kind of care were common.
