Took my 89 year old grandmother to an appointment with Dr Rizk for a mass in her throat. The staff were incredibly rude and left us in the dust on the way to the exam room, only for us to find it on our own while they waited for us tapping their toes and telling us to hurry up. She is 89 with a walker, we can only go so fast. The dr himself was extremely rude, wouldn’t look my grandma in the eye while talking at her (not to her, AT HER) and peppering her with questions so fast we could barely answer before he was barking another one at us. He then proceeded to stand up and shove a scope up her nose with no warning or explanation of what he was doing, and the same to her throat. Then he told us he needed a CT to tell anything so there was no point in us being there, then booked it out of the room just as fast as the staff and was angry when we couldn’t keep up his breakneck pace. Nothing was explained, no questions answered, and my grandma was treated horribly. She was almost in tears after this appointment and we will never be going back. Hands down worst experience with any dr I’ve ever experienced in my life.

Rude front staff. Cancelled appointments without calling me. One time waiting room was full and I was asked to wait outside during covid, only to find out they had call my name several times (quietly inside) then forgot about me. Rizk is okay but the clinic overall is a poorly managed mess and not pleasant to deal with. Rizk seems to know what he is talking about, however, my issue was not resolved - and I found better help elsewhere.

Avoid this Dr at all cost. I was very happy after my first visit. He sent me for tests and told me that he could help. I go back after my test results came in and he had a plan on to fix my nose (perforated and deviated septum and polyps). Awesome. Said I needed to use some over the counter cream first for the dryness and then go back 3 months later. No problem. I went back for a couple of follow up appointments and he kept telling me to use the cream. Covid hit and then it took 8-9 months to get back in to see him. Finally got an appointment, he checked my nose, and said that he’ll have to send me to another ENT to complete the surgery. What the heck? By this point I had been his patient for 3 years and had numerous appointments with him. Fine…send me to another one for the actual surgery. I go back 4 months later for a follow up and he asked how my surgery went. Ummmm…you didn’t send me to the other ENT yet. He told me to use the cream again and go back in 3 months. I went back 3 months later and he decided that I would just have to live with it and there was nothing he could do for me. I asked about the referral to the other ENT and he said that no one can help me so he didn’t send it. He told me to go back and see him in 3 months for follow up. What the heck for? I went to him for 4 years and he kept saying he could help. After all of that he said there was nothing anyone can do. I told office staff not to bother booking another appointment with him and I’d like to see someone else. They told me they couldn’t book me with someone else and I would have to go back to my family doctor to start the referral process all over again. I left crying. Staff were always very kind but he was always way too rushed, wouldn’t listen, walks away from you while you’re trying to talk to him, always late, and extremely rude.

They're busy. You have to be patient. Explain yourself in short. Be patient. Dr Rizk is busy... and harried. He really, really helped me today get to the bottom of a long term problem I've been having. I am SO GLAD I had my appt. today. Be patient and ask him to repeat himself/ explain. He knows his stuff. He knows "his medicine". Highly recommend him. If you have questions /concerns write them down; come prepared. Be patient.. and polite. Good clinic. Efficient and quick/ helpful.👍👍🥰

Horrible doctor. Front staff rude. Very hard to understand and doesn’t listen. Even rolled his eyes!

Both, staff and the doctor are extremely rude. Staff schedules appointments while doctor is out of office. He never listens. I was sent for x rays multiple times for the same thing. Absolutely terrible experience. Look elsewhere for another specialist.

I rushed to get to my app. on time, waited over 90 min. to get into a room, no apology for being late. I continually asked questions about what my concerns were and he didn't answer or respond to any of them. He decided what he would do for me and it had nothing to do with my concerns. I was frustrated and upset when I left. This Dr. may be very knowledgable but if he doesn't listen to my concerns, what good is the knowledge. I've never understood why doctors overbook? When I called to book with him, I should have been told that there could be a 2 hour wait. I would not have seen him having this information. I will not go back.

Rude. Arrogant. Didn't explain what he was about to do which caused significant discomfort. No post exam discussion. Advised my GP to steer clear of him. This was my second visit to him with no change in his demeanor.

I have seen Dr. Rizk twice now. I reviewed his reviews prior and noted the complaints against him but decided I would be open considering I also work in the healthcare field and everyone’s experiences are different. I was wrong. My first appointment, although very quick, was somewhat decent and I was hopeful. He gave me some suggestions and a multitude of tests to complete and booked me in for a follow up down the road. I completed the assessments and came back for my follow up. At my follow up I waited 90 minutes and was seen for maybe 90 seconds. He shoved a camera up my nose (without freezing/numbing & he did this at the first appointment too and when you have a total nasal blockage, this is an incredibly painful experience when you are not prepared). He didn’t go over any of my tests / assessments with me, didn’t want to hear anything I had to say on the changes I made based on his recommendations and said I needed a PFT to determine if surgery is required and to come back in 4 months. I cried after this appointment as I felt so uncared for and I truly am struggling with my nasal issues. It’s impacted my health substantially. I have now waited almost two months and hadn't heard about my PFT so I called his office only to be told the only notes they have are from my first appointment and that no referrals were made or needed and they don’t know what I’m talking about. I am waiting on a secondary call back and if this isn’t rectified I will be making a complaint through the College of Physicians as this is unacceptable. I knew our AHS system was bad but I am truly floored by this. I would recommend to anyone that they ensure a referral is not sent to this ENT and to proceed with caution.

I was very reluctant to even go to this appt based on the reviews but my visit with him was quite the opposite of what the other people said. Firstly I drove in from 5 hours north and his staff was accommodating as I got to my appt quite early and they set me up in a room to wait. When I seen the doctor I felt as if he was the first ENT to take my concerns and actually do something about it. He is a bit difficult to understand but I was able to get all of my questions asked and answered. Will see how my follow up appointment goes but this is the first time I’ve felt like I’ve been helped by an ENT.
