The bar is pretty low when it comes to Albertan physicians but he is genuinely good at his job. Doctors are your nannies : you act like an adult and He will treat you like one.

I have no words on how disappointed I am in this office based on their behaviors in resolving immediate attention. The front staff were unknowledgeable and unprofessional. The Dr. himself speaks like a child and is quite condescending acting like he is concerned. If you are looking for a doctor who is solution based, I would recommend to look elsewhere.

If I could give no stars I would have! This is by far the WORST doctor I have ever dealt with. He talked to me like I was an idiot. He listened to nothing I said and rolled his eyes often, even my 12 year old daughter seen it and mentioned it. It made her feel extremely sad that a doctor would treat me that way when she is also worried about me and my health. He decided what I felt instead of listening to what I say and what I’m actually feeling. I rarely went to an appointment alone because of these issues and other people witnessed these things he was doing. I thought he was going to be amazing for me and my family and it turned out to be the worst decision I have ever made. He didn’t care and basically told me everything was in my head. He has an extreme got a “God like” complex and LOVES to hear himself talk. It was even worse when he had a student doctor shadowing him. It was actually embarrassing, for him, it was so ridiculous. He comes across as VERY caring, but like most male doctors, I am a woman, so it all has got to be in my head! He used the fact that he is a mental health doctor as well as a general practitioner to then turn around and use the mental health part of it against me, stopping my ability to to get the necessary health care I need. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE! If you have anxiety, then all of your physical health problems will be chalked up to anxiety. He will never take you seriously about your actual health. I am warning you, it’s not worth it. It will all be in your head! One specific appointment he had me doing a neurological assessment and I told him that I had recently fallen down the stairs a couple of times and that my balance was off. But, he insisted I do the exam without any protection from falling. Well I fell back and smacked my head on the cupboard and he didn’t even ask if I was ok. My husband was present for the entire appointment. He’s the most uncaring and pompous doctor I have ever dealt with. He has now ruined my future health care by labeling me as anxious! His staff is incompetent and lost my physical file. I had to drive to the old town to where I use to live to get my physical file even after singing to have it sent to his office over and over. They couldn’t even get that right and then blamed me for it. When I got my physical file my husband personally drove me right to the door and I walked it in and handed it to his staff. They said they would make sure they scanned it all in for him and they would make sure he got it. Well they lost the entire file! When I asked him how they could have lost it, he basically insinuated I was lying about even bringing it in. Why would I? Why would anyone who’s trying to get proper health care?! Wait until you really need him to figure something out that doesn’t fit in the box, you will be left with zero help. Nothing and he will basically call you a liar and tell you it’s all in your head. I would never recommenced this doctor to anyone or this clinic based on the fact that they lost all of my very personal information and do not care at all. Again, remember, in the beginning he comes across as extremely caring and sympathetic but the second you challenge a single word out of his mouth the true person he is, is revealed. Please find someone else if you want someone who truly cares and listens. Anyone can put on a good show for a couple of appointments.

Dr. Baruta is our family doctor. All of my 5 members love him. He is the best of the best and top of the top. Warm hearted, concise, educate his patients, very knowledgeable, caring, punctual, read patients' mind. I'm extremely happy with him not afraid of being old. He is our family's super hero.

Amazing doctor, I can't say enough good things about Dr. B - he's kind, patient, understanding and concise. I wish I would have found him years ago.

One of the best doctors I’ve ever had. He’s caring, thoughtful, thorough and compassionate. He’s helped me more than other doctors in a fraction of the time. I highly recommend him.
