I saw this doctor in office and he sat in front of computer therefore I believed my chart was on the screen but he told me I had no stones and some moderate kidney swelling and sent me home, all is well. Once I arrived home I received a phone call from his secretary informing me that the hospital will be calling me to book a CT scan for the stone in my kidney. Also I agree with the person who mentioned Toradol for pain relief just doesn't cut it! It makes me feel as is my pain is none of his concern!

I had my kidney stones removed by Dr. Marzouk last summer. The small ones were left untouched as they were in a difficult location. The doctor is outstanding, very open and knowledgeable. One criticism I have was with the lack of instructions post operation and before the stent removal. I have had one follow up visit and another one due shortly.

I have been a patient of Dr Marzouk for almost one year. It has been a journey and i fil privileged. In every field of medicine, science, and arts, people that make a difference are they who have passion for what they do. Dr Marzouk is one of them. He is in my experience and opinion the highest level urologist and surgeon. He has the only surgeon that when finished my operation went in waiting room to inform my wife about it. No other surgeon did that meaningful gesture that day. Me and my wife will be grateful to Dr Marzouk for the rest of our lives.

my biggest pet peeve is when a doctor doesn’t look at your chart and acts as if he knows everything and it’s all fine. I had gone to this appointment because i need my kidney removed, and had spent 3 months in the hospital on IV antibiotics and have an active picc line, and the first question he had asked me was “have you been sick enough where you’ve been admitted to the hospital?” Like buddy open my chart and you’ll see i was discharged last week after being septic….. He’s a nice guy don’t get me wrong but just is too busy and has no time. if you’re sick and need surgery try to get in with another urologist, as he does cancer patients so the wait for surgery is 5 months at least. He doesn’t check up or anything. i left my appointment in the same predicament i had gone in with. I needed my kidney removed asap because it is making me sick and i was told the next available appointment is march 2025. my appointment was in the beginning of october 2024 LOL. He also did not book a follow up appointment to see how i would be feeling or anything. it’s been a little more than a month after my appointment with him and im back in the hospital with polynephritis and on the verge of sepsis. but hey, you won’t be able to see a different urologist for a second opinion because they don’t like to step on eachothers toes and “since you have a urologist already following up on your case, you don’t need another one..” thumbs up for garbage health care…..

Dr. Marzouk is an amazing doctor. He listens to you and shows empathy. The front desk receptionist is amazing, as well.
