I was referred to Dr. Allert after I shattered my radial head, dislocated my elbow, tore ligaments and tendons during a horrific fall. My fracture is not common and many doctors would not see me. I had sent my x-rays to his office at Restoration Orthopaedics, and was called the next day to come in for a consultation. Dr. Allert spent so much time explaining what was needed to get my elbow stable! He even drew pictures of the joint. I was scheduled for surgery 3 days later. He operated on my elbow in Hackensack Hospital and replaced my radial head with a titanium joint. He also repaired anther fracture as well as ligaments and tendons. My recovery was without pain. Dr. Allert is not only an accomplished surgeon, but he is compassionate and empathetic. He immediately put me at ease! I am now 8 weeks post-op and I have been seen every 2-4 weeks to monitor my progress. I have no restrictions with mobility at this point. I am so grateful to Dr. Allert! I would give him a million stars if I could.

I had a fracture of my displaced femur and underwent surgery with Dr. Allert . I went to his office 3 weeks and 2 days post surgery, using a walker, my recovery is going exceptionally well, thanks to the talented Dr. Allert. I am very appreciative that he was my surgeon!

Dr. Allert spent an adequate amount of time with my 10 year old daughter after she broke her arm He explained everything to her (and to me) in a way that was compassionate and informative.

Dr. Allert operated on my arm last year in August. I had a terrible fall and my right arm was broken in several places and the nerves were laying on top of the broken bones. He performed my surgery and was an excellent surgeon. After several months of therapy I am able to successfully use my hand and arm. Dr. Allert is a very compassionate doctor, very informative and always answered any of my questions and dealt with my concerns. He also was exceptional with my follow-up care. The office staff was also very polite and cordial. My experience with Dr. Allert was very pleasant and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic surgeon.

The always thorough and attentive Dr. Allert went beyond his skills this last visit and after diagnosing the Orthopedic problem with my shoulder (via X-ray), became very concerned with my shortness of breath, general sickly look and excruciating pain and was the only Dr. (of my GP and Cardiologist even) who took off my shirt to notice an obvious swelling of my right arm (i hadnt showered in a while because of this incapacitating pain and couldnt lift my arm to take off my shirt so i never noticed). He left the room to confer with multiple colleagues from other hospitals and determined i need to rush to EMERGENCY room where they found a major clot in my shoulder (for which blood thinners were ordered immediately). I am a patient who needs some TLC and bedside manner and Dr. Allert is tops in that EXTRA quality. He's always available for follow up questions and doesn't stop at just saying "there's nothing else i could do for the Orthopedic part of my problem"...offering an action plan. I cannot say enough about the AMAZING Office Staff, specifically Mercedes, Diane and Sue. From the moment one enters the office, these CARING people show their empathy for your problem and go the extra mile to make you feel you are in a top-quality, professional medical environment. Unfortunately, i have had to see many doctors recently and truly notice the difference when greeted by an amazing efficient, friendly staff. Thank you so much!!!

I’m writing this review about Dr. Jesse Allert, with my husband, we are both so thankful for his surgical talent Dr. Allert has shared with us. My Husband fell off our front porch while working on it and had severe multiple rotator cuff complete tear damage to his primary right shoulder along with nerve damage. Not knowing who to go to and being turned down by 2 orthopedic doctors/surgeons because of the complexity of the injury. This was devasting news since John is a carpenter and needs to be able to have full range of motion and a good working, strong arm to continue in his line of business. I went to the web and searched something like “massive rotator cuff repair” Dr. Jesse Allert came up. Knowing nothing about this doctor we scheduled a consultation, and we were thoroughly impressed. Dr Allert was very realistic about the damage and potential surgical outcomes. We were given 2 options (simplifying our discussion) repair or replace the shoulder. Both options were not a slam dunk, had pro & cons with each option. We chose repair. The replacement was so permanent, giving up your body parts for something foreign to the body. We all knew and accepted that a repair would be a challenge for the doctor, his team and for John. A shoulder replacement would be the last resort. We are absolutely thrilled with the shoulder rotator cuff repair results. There was/is a long road to recovery well over 6-9 months of exercise, therapy, internal healing to see the positive results of the surgery and a shoulder/arm on the mend. John was diligent exercising/stretching the shoulder and strengthening the arm over and beyond physical therapy sessions. Being patient was key. Now a year after the accident John is back at work as a carpenter, continuing to strengthen his arm. We are grateful for finding Dr. Alert. We highly recommend him, truly a compassionate, patient, doctor and talented surgeon. Working with his office team has been a pleasure to work with as well.

When a doctor is as good as Dr. Jesse Allert, I just need to share my experience. I had 3 failed rotator cuff surgeries by other doctors and was told to find a specialist who would do a reverse shoulder replacement, as a last resort to relieve my pain. I saw a few Drs but did not feeI they understood the trauma and pain I had endured over a 24 month period from all these surgeries. When I met with Dr Allert, he was so kind and sympathetic of what I had been through. He assured me that the reverse shoulder replacement was the best and only solution I had. He also reassured me he would fix me up like new and give me back a workable arm. Dr Allert was so confident and he promise to take good care of me. I felt so comfortable with him and his entire staff. It has now been just seven months and I do in fact have a pain free workable arm. I can not express my gratitude to this great Surgeon, He is one special Dr and Surgeon !!

Dr. Allert is an excellent Doctor Who listens to the patient, takes every comment you have seriously, performed surgeries on both my shoulders For rotator cuff repair and the entire experience with him was excellent
