Jen made my childhood trauma of going to the dentist virtually go away. She is so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. When I was getting major dental work, she stopped if I even moved a bit and asked if I was okay. I trust her 100% and would recommend her to anyone with anxiety.

I have going to Macleod Trail Dental for around 10 years. I had many experience hygienist which was well rounded. Cathy stands out with her wealth of experience giving advice on some simple things how to maintain teeth and gums. Cathy's friendly approach keeps you focus on the rich conversion she drums up and less on the procedure.

I really like the staff. I am not as pleased with Dr. Silver's personal approach. Both times I have 'met' her she stood to the side of the chair. I was in a reclined position in the chair with the bright dental light shining in my eyes and it was difficult to see her. She said 'Hi' but that was about it, then asked the dental hygienist how the x-rays etc were and immediately started her own examination of my mouth, talking to the hygienist as if I wasn't there. Once done, she said goodbye and left. I find her approach quite impersonal. My previous dentist would turn off the light and raise the chair, sit beside me and talk to me briefly after the exam. This made me feel like I was more than just a set of teeth to be examined. I have not had any dental work performed by Dr. Silver, I'm sure she is proficient however I would appreciate a friendlier, more personal approach.
