Ratings for Dr. Jeff Lo
4.8
Dr lo is very professional and skilled. He recently performed a root canal through my bridge and it was probably the best experience ever fir a procedure. Everything was explained the whole tome and he was so gentle and caring whilst also being effiecient. A great experience. I would tecommend him to anyone. His staff are also very caring and friendly.
Dr Lo and staff are truly amazing. I was petrified of having a root canal and I could not be more impressed with the outcome. I work in health care myself which does nothing except increase my anxiety level regarding anything invasive. Dr. Lo is cool, calm and collected. He was able to accommodate my busy schedule and his no-bs communication gave me the assurance that he knew what he was doing. There was absolutely zero pain throughout the procedure. The freezing was by far the best experience I have ever had with local anesthetic. He has a pretty innovative machine (gentle-wave??) that essentially pressure washes the inside of the tooth. Zero pain or discomfort throughout the procedure. His assistant Sheila was top-notch. Very caring and I could tell by the way instruments were passed back and forth that she knew exactly what she was doing. Absolutely no fumbling around, just precise, planned and smooth movements. Thank-you Dr.Lo and staff, you have taken me out of terrible, relentless pain.
I had a difficult root canal through a crown done by Dr.Lo. I was terrified of the procedure and unsure of the outcome. I didn't need to worry, it was no more than a visit for a filling and Dr. Lo really knows what to do. He saved my tooth. Thank you, Dr Lo.
Dr Lo re-treated two root canals I had done by other dentists (including another endo) that had failed. You really can’t tell if you are being served by a good professional until you experience one. Dr Lo’s staff and equipment were so far above what I previously experienced there was no comparison! His use of CT Scans, microscopic surgery, and the gentle wave system significantly reduces risks associated with traditional endodontic treatment. He could see every canal and treat it. Xrays did not disclose full information to my prior providers. The gentle wave system removes bacteria from the treated area to prevent infection from returning. Add to that Dr Lo and his staff are pleasant professional and caring. My problems were so bad from the prior treatment that I stood to lose both teeth and gave to go through costly and difficult bone grafts and prosthetic care. Dr Lo agreed to take on the very difficult treatment and there is now a reasonable chance that I will be able to keep my own teeth. I cannot day enough good things about Dr Lo or his office and would not consider going anywhere else for endodontic care
Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lo. 1st root canal for me, and I was terrified. He and his staff put me at ease, explained every step, what I was going to feel, and to let them know if I felt anything, so he could alleviate it if I was uncomfortable. If you HAVE to have endodontics done, you want a rock star like Dr. Lo doing it!
Dr Lo and his team exceeded my expectations. They are organized, kind, and provided me with an excellent result. He fit me in for an urgent appointment and got me out of pain immediately. He is so humble and caring with excellent chair side manner. I am so thankful to my friend who recommended him to me. If you need an endodontist, look no further. Dr Lo is one of a kind.
Dr. Lo and his staff are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with him and his staff (2 root canals in two weeks). If you require an endodontist see Dr. Lo.
Generally, I am not one to take the time to 'leave a review'...life & staying in business is just too busy. But in this case, I feel I just have to. When you run across such a level of service that makes you really appreciate someone's experience or level of service in this diminishing area of quality service we see all around us, a shout out of thanks is particularly warranted. I obviously was not happy to have to go through my 1st 'root canal' procedure, as since I was young even hearing the term made me shudder. But from my 1st consult (in the middle of all of these Covid procedures), the office, his assistant, and Dr. Lo himself made it very clear this would be a procedure I was not going to worry about. On procedure day, all went fine, and I am being completely honest here, it was no worse than getting a filling - albeit a bit longer in the chair. Dr. Lo's temperament and professionalism, along with abundantly clear experience made the whole time far better than I even expected. I have a pretty significant pain tolerance in general, but cannot even say it was close to being worse than mild discomfort. It must also be noted that both the knowledge and experience of his assistant was appreciated, along with her calming and supportive temperament throughout the procedure was clear and helpful. If asked by a family member who I saw & how my procedure went, I would highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Lo in a heartbeat. Thank you to the whole team once again. David.
Very happy with the staff and Dr Lo. Have retained 2 teeth that he treated with surgery. Thank you Dr Lo
My dentist referred me to Dr. Lo for a root canal re-treatment a few months ago. I have a latex allergy and he was the only endodontist we could find that had a safe office for me. We found out from the CT scan he did during my consultation appointment that a root was missed on a root canal I had done several years ago. All this time, the tooth and surrounding area was full of infection! I never had symptoms, so it was just silently festering all this time. Dr. Lo was totally honest about the situation. He estimated a 75% chance of success and warned me that my porcelain crown could be damaged by the procedure. I really didn't want to lose my tooth and the odds weren't terrible, so I decided to go for it. (Incidentally, my initial appointment was a long way's out, but being put on a cancellation list got me an appointment 2 weeks after my consultation. Cancellations lists are the best!) I am going to be really honest here - the procedure sucked. I am a fast metabolizer of dental numbing, plus I get heart palpitations from the epinephrine so I have to use the numbing that already doesn't last as long as the normal stuff. I think he had to stop and inject me about 6 times. That's not anyone's fault, and he was very good-natured about the extra work. His assistant was very kind to me. Dr. Lo explained things to me as we went along and I got to see images of the root, of the infection, and pretty much everything he did. He's a very chill guy so it's hard to tell on the surface, but it doesn't take a genius to see how much work he put in. Towards the end, the numbing wore off and he gave me the choice to push through it for a few minutes or stop for more numbing. I was so done with it, I dealt with the pain. It was miserable, but it was my choice. Before he put the temporary filling in, he ran me through the CT scan again to make sure he got all the infection - a touch that shows his attention to detail. I was prescribed amoxicillin for the infection, and considering that the inside of my tooth looked like an unintended microbiology experiment at the back of someone's fridge, I did not object. He even saw me free of charge about a month after the procedure because of hot/cold feeling. Turns out it was a tooth next door, but he was kind and took my concerns seriously. So here we are about 3 months later, I just got the permanent filling over my crown, and my dentist tells me everything looks great. My crown appears to have sustained no damage (thank goodness!), and I'm glad I made the decision I did. I've had a lot of medical issues in my life, and I've developed a good sense of when a healthcare practitioner is on top of their game. Dr. Lo most definitely has the mad skills you want when you need a root canal or a re-treatment. I suspect it's possible that it was his skills in particular that saved my tooth - he really is that good. He wants to see me in a year to make sure all is well. So, what's the down side? He doesn't direct bill insurance plans. You're going to have to pay upfront and get reimbursed later. With my latex allergy, I literally had no choice. That said, my husband and I had about a month to get our crap together financially to make that happen. And his office staff prepared and sent in all the forms for me for reimbursement - which I received in a little over a week! Like Dr. Lo, his staff know what they are doing in their area of expertise and they did it pleasantly and professionally. All in all, I cannot recommend Dr. Lo and his team highly enough.
