I had him for seizures, he immediately diagnosed me with epilepsy, no tests were done before starting medication. He continued upping my dose when it got worse and every time he upped it the seizures got so much worse. It took me being in the hospital for 3 days and my mother demanding he tell us how to take me off the medications safely. I was later told that I was mis diagnosed with epilepsy. This happened over roughly 3 years and he would not listen or consider that we could be right when we continously told him that the medication was making it worse. He made me feel very belittled and unheard. And quite frankly I have a lot of other medical issues now and can't help wonder if being on those medications caused long term damage.

He was great, we have had to go to him on 2 separate occasions 5 yrs apart and both times he was very willing to listen and discuss and took a very thorough history and physical exam. When we left we were all in agreement and as parents we felt our concerns were being heard and not dismissed.

Horribly unprofessional. Would not recommend anyone see him.

Dr Wright is very unprofessional in his manner of dealing with parents and children. He made my daughter very uncomfortable upon entering the room with a weird comment. He proceeded to bash me and other parents about different medications. He lied and berated my child and I about our experience. He kept saying that actual facts were not facts and that people are stupid for believing things. He also kept saying that things in the file were not true. He also continuously made comments about the people who write the files and do the assessments and their general lack of knowledge and literally everything. Definitely would not recommend.

Horrendously unprofessional, politically opinionated, homophobic, and biased against assigning a diagnosis to individuals on the higher end of the spectrum. Openly judged positive parenting tactics and my parenting in front of my child.

Very thorough and caring, would recommend him to anyone.

Most awkward consult with a doctor for my teenager. All about medication, doesn’t listen to his patient or the parents questions, very defensive. Not open minded to other treatment options. Very disappointed. So if you need heavy medications, this is your doctor, he will prescribe anything.

My 17 year old daughter had seen Dr Wright over 2 years ago for her debilitating migranes. Without explanation, they stopped for 2 years and have since come back. We saw him again today for a follow up visit. He was very professional, kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr Wright spent over an hour with us taking a very detailed history and performed a physical examination. Thank you so much for your exemplary care. We are very fortunate to have you in our community.

Dr. Wright is a gift to our community-my son is so lucky to have him on his team. He is relatable, kind, SUPER smart and very detailed. I find him to be a 'big picture' thinker, taking all details into account. He listens to the parent, and for anyone with a kid who sees multiple medical professionals for their child, you know how rare this can be. Thank you Dr. Wright!!!
