Biography

Dr. Henry Reis is a physician, author, editor and educator from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; where he graduated from the University of Brazil (UFRJ), with a summa cum laude Ophthalmology degree. He is a Co-chair of the Cornea Section at the International Society of Eye Research Meeting in Australia and Faculty of the Canadian Dry Eye Summit. He is the Associate Editor of the CRO Journal, Chief Medical Advisor for I-MED Pharma and has served the BCDO Board of Directors and was the Provincial Association Vice-President and chair of the Provincial Telehealth Committee until February of 2017. Dr. Reis is the CEO and co-founder of AI4Eyes, a Canadian-based medical device company that is building the world’s first using artificial intelligence (AI) enhanced system for anterior segment disease diagnosis and management.
