I've been a patient there for over 17 years. Dr. Rickerby is very knowledgeable and his staff is friendly.

His dental clinic desires more money than you can pay. If you look at his office and where the facility sits you will understand why.

I rate this dentist low, because of the lack of consultation I received on a few occasions. He does not take his patients concern for price into consideration. He will get mad a the patient for their decision. He feels he is right and does not listen to the patient. When price is given, it is always different at the front desk or when you get your bill. I would not recommend to anyone. Unfriendly service.

This Dr. was reccomended by a friend. I made two visits for cleaning and gum treatments. I was told the co-pay for the gum treaments would be $250, which I thought was extremely high. I watched as the receptionist called and confrimed myb co-pay. I was apprehensively because I of the cost but I relented and paid because the claimed I really needed it. Months later I received an additional bill of $500. I was shocked and upset. I couldn't believe they were billing me again after I watched them confirm the cost. I never went again. The service and facilities were ok but not for the cost. You can get similar service at a better price.

Biography

Dr. Rickerby graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Dental School, in 1987. His post-doctoral education includes a two-year, full-mouth rehabilitation mini-residency at New York University College of Dentistry, completed in 1998, and further studies of the management of TMJ problems and occlusal correction.This unique concentration allows Dr. Rickerby to competently handle the most complex dental reconstruction cases that require multi-pronged treatment, as well as address the simplest dental problem.Dr. Rickerby has remained current with new technologies in dentistry through his post-doctoral studies and by attending at least four update courses per year. He has applied these methods in private practice and alongside the finest dental specialists for the past 25 years.In addition to leading this private practice team, Dr. Rickerby is currently an assistant professor at NYUs School of Dentistry.
