Dr. Barkhoudarian is polished, kind, caring and skillful. I had brain surgery one week ago today and I am so grateful for him and his wonderful staff. I live 10 minutes from an award winning hospital but drove 2 hours for my appointments with Dr. B and would do it all over again, because he is worth it. Considerate, responsive, accommodating and thorough is how I'd describe all of my experiences here. (He even answers emails personally and quickly!).

After being diagnosed with Acromegaly, I began my research for a nuerosuregon. I came across Dr. Barkhoudarian, Dr. Kelly, and their excellent team at Providence St. John's Health Center. Their credentials were enough for me to stop looking. Immediately upon meeting the doctors, all fear and unrest was gone. I looked forward to having surgery, knowing full well that Dr. B and his team would remove my tumor. During my first visit, the doctors were thorough in their explanation of the surgery, they were patient with me as they answered any and all of my questions, and most importantly, they were available before and after the surgery. I had a successful surgery 2 weeks ago. The doctors removed all of my tumor (as I knew they would). What is most notable through this entire ordeal is that Dr. B has made me feel like a priority. He has answered every email or call in a timely manner. In my last appointment with Dr. B, my husband and I were amazed at how much Dr. B truly cares about his patients and their well-being. When I told him I no longer needed to wear my reading glasses, his eyes lit up with genuine happiness. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Barkhoudarian, Dr. Kelly, and their wonderful team. I thank God every night that I crossed paths with such amazing surgeons and human beings.

My voice can't possibly sing Dr. Barkhoudarian's praises loud enough. This brilliant, technologically advanced, top-of-the-line doctor saved my life. I could stop there, as I am eternally indebted to him, but it would be a shame if I didn't express my gratitude for all the other amazing traits he possesses. I am in awe of his knowledge, confidence, compassion, bedside manner, and genuine concern and empathy for both mine and my family's feelings during the most terrifying time in our life. I was diagnosed with a baseball sized meningioma on my frontal lobe which required immediate surgery. The staff seemed to drop everything, treated me like family, and scheduled emergency surgery 4 days later. I can't explain how, but I was completely filled with hope and my fear diminished, which I owe a large part to the way Dr. B and his team thoroughly explained everything to me. He took the time to answer all my questions and provide honest results. I knew I was in GOoD hands. If I lived in China or Florida, I would have had to travel to have him operate on me after getting to know him and his procedures. Luckily, I live walking distance to his practice. Too many miracles to count, but I thank God for allowing my path to cross Dr. B's. Not only is he an awe-inspiring doctor, but he is an amazing and humble human being. Thank you, Dr. B, for giving me the chance to live the life I'm meant to lead. I am forever grateful.
