Biography
Felicia Persaud, FNP-BC is a licensed, Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born in Queens, NY and currently lives in Nassau County. Felicia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Chamberlain University. She worked as a registered nurse for 10 years in the Emergency Department, specializing in Trauma and Resuscitation. Felicia then earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education at Aspen University. Though her first passion is teaching, Felicia developed an interest in women’s health after first being a patient herself. Felicia ultimately earned her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Long Island University in 2021. Since then, she worked as a nurse practitioner at a private ob/gyn practice before joining the WHP team. When Felicia is not actively treating patients, she continues to foster the learning of the next generation of nurses as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University.
