Biography
Dr. Arij Al Kayyali BDS, MS.c, FRCD (C)“Driven by a passion for embracing challenges and a keen eye for detail, I find immense satisfaction in relieving my patients from pain and saving their natural teeth. Root canal treatments may have a notorious reputation, but I’m here to change that perception. With today’s advancements in dentistry, undergoing a root canal treatment should be a comfortable, pain-free experience. The dentistry of our childhood, fraught with fear and discomfort, is a thing of the past. I aim to change how patients feel by offering cutting-edge, painless treatments.” Dr. Al Kayyali received her dental degree and a master’s in Endodontics from Jordan University of Science and Technology. After practicing for six years in the United Arab Emirates, she moved to Canada and completed the equivalency exams for general dentistry as well as the Dental Specialty Assessment and Training Program (DSATP) at the University of Toronto. She served as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2018. Currently, she is a proud fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Ontario Dental Association, and Canadian Academy of Endodontists. Away from her practice, Dr. Al Kayyali cherishes her role as a devoted aunt and loves spending quality time with her family. Her interests also include traveling, cooking, and losing herself in a comedy that brings about a good laugh. After all, she believes that laughter is the best medicine—second only to a perfectly executed root canal treatment.
