I have been a patient of Dr. Bhatti’s for 3 1/2 years when I was diagnosed with Wet Macular Degeneration (L) eye. My treatments are every 4 to 5 weeks. While these treatments are very necessary and not at all pleasant, the staff and Dr. Bhatti do their best to make you feel relaxed and as comfortable as possible. Dr. Bhatti sees many patients and is always pleasant and sometimes humorous to lighten things up. All in all, this is a very good clinic and I feel well looked after. C M

About 3 months ago I learned that my Macular Degeneration had progressed in my left eye. I was informed that this would require monthly injections in that eye. I was terrified and demoralised upon receiving that diagnostic. Three months ago I went to the clinic for my 1st injection. My anxiety had been through the roof for a couple of days. However, the professional and courteous staff were quick to reassure me that the procedure would not be as traumatising and invasive as I may have thought it would be. Although, my 1st injection was rather uncomfortable, it ended up taking only a few seconds. I had my 2nd injection last month and it went even smoother than the previous one. My 3rd appointment is now due but I do not feel as anxious as I did for the 1st time. Although the whole thing is rather not at all pleasant, I remain confident and reassured by the professionalism demonstrated by Dr. Bhatti and the staff at the i care eye clinic.

I have been seeing Dr Bhatti for over ten years. He is very personable and I always feel that I can ask him anything. When my macular degeneration flared up I was seen immediately and have been having prompt treatment ever since.

I have been a patient of Dr Bhatti's for a little over two years, receiving injections in my right eye, as well as having laser treatment for flouters, referral for laser treatment for a detached retina at the Ottawa General, and cataract surgery for both my right and left eye during the same procedure. I have been a patient of the iCare clinic for two and a half years having appointments every 4-6 weeks over this time period. I am being treated for macular degeneration with intravitreal injections. Despite feeling a great deal of anxiety before each injection, I have come to trust the staff and Dr Bhatti, feeling very confident in their expertise. Despite seeing a high volume of patients either going through a triage line or seated in one of the multiple waiting areas, the clinic operates with speed and efficiency. The staff are friendly and welcoming as they guide patients through the necessary tests.
