My first appointment i had a ultrasound block and he found an issue that been causing severe pain for years and took steps to correct this is my lowest pain levels in 20 years

Dr. Alugo is an amazing doctor. He explains everything in detail and takes the time talk to me. He’s a lifesaver!!

I had Dr Alugo as my anesthesiologist for an emergency c section. He was very calming and reassuring the whole time. Took the time to walk me through the whole procedure and explain exactly what was happening step by step. Can’t say enough good things about my experience with him.

Dr. Alugo is very smart and has a great bedside manner. He is kind and genuinely cares, and that is rare to find in many doctors. My only issue is he is very busy and rushed. I find he does not always listen or remember because of this. He is highly motivated and has his attention in many areas, and I find that it the reason there are patients not getting their needs met. He isn't the most accessible doctor. I realize that the demand is great and he is only human, but I believe if he stuck to doing a few things as opposed to several, he would be more focused and truly excellent.

Never follows through on promises of treatment. Several months will easily go by before you are treated for something which needs to be done every 2-4 weeks. Clinic is terribly managed. Good luck getting someone to answer your call or booking an appointment. The doctor himself is nice but will not treat you consistently to the point where you are better off going somewhere else. It’s terrible to give someone a hint of relief and then ignore them for months. It’s actually quite cruel and dangerous.

Every time I need a procedure done ( which takes all of 30 minutes to do) they dint call back and I end up having to go through the patient advocate… except this time they aren’t responding to the patient advocate either, my files been open with them for 3 months…. I’ve been back to work for 8 months now, I’m hanging on by a thread and it’s looking like I’ll be having to go back out on disability again right bf Christmas. So much for this clinic managing your pain!!!

Had good appointment with him,he said he would set up appointment for nerve block and never heard anything since,been waiting over 3 years and can’t even get through to his office

I had Major surgery on May 10, 2024 and multiple complications leading in to 2 other additional surgeries. DR Alugo was and continues to be there by my side through it all. I was admitted for 3 weeks and he came in my room to check up on me every day if not multiple times a day. He has always been on my side. He would not stop until I was comfortable. I see him every month now and he cares just as much as he did when I was freshly post-op. He is kind, extremely smart, very personable, funny and has the best bedside manner. I get emotional every time I see him because of how great he was to me during this process. You will not find a better doctor than him.

Our first two appointments have already been life altering. He is always continuing his research and learning for the betterment of his patients. Excellent “bedside” manner
