Dr. Majda prescribed me with Acuvue Oasys when I went in for an eye exam because she said I had a slight case of astigmatism. I thought it was odd that no other eye care practitioner had ever noticed this. I also thought it was beyond coincidence that Acuvue Oasys is one of the most expensive brands of contact lenses available. When I told her I was comfortable with my current brand and didn't want to change, she gave me a scare story and wouldn't let me have them. She didn't listen and she used a hard-sell approach to market an unnecessary product. Now I can't get my regular brand of lenses until I go back and get another eye exam from someone else. I will never return to this eye doctor.
