Dr. Plunkett was extremely knowledgeable and projected a sincere sense of caring. She took the time to explain the situation, talk about different approaches/referrals, and answered any of my concerns. Overall I felt truly comfortable with her managing my case.

Saw Dr. Plunkett for a thyroid issue. Highly recommend! She is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. It's not easy to trust a doctor or find one that seems competent AND doesn't make you feel rushed or invisible. Dr. Plunkett really seems to know her stuff and is a sweet person to boot. I'm so happy to have found her!

I love this doctor, she is the best. She is very knowledgeable like others have mentioned about Endocrine issues like diabetes and thyroid. Since we are military it seems like we are always moving around and switching doctors every time makes controlling type 1 diabetes complicated. She works very hard and takes her time. She is very easy to talk to and if she doesn't know the answer she will do whatever she can to find the solution. I will be sad when we get uprooted again and I have to find another doctor somewhere else. What makes things even better for type 1 diabetics is that there is a diabetes care provider named John who works with her diabetic patients hand in hand (who is also a type 1 diabetic, wearing a pump) he is an amazing person to talk to about any issues. Together they are a powerful team and work hard. The post about waiting that's not the doctors fault that is the front desk/scheduling problems.

Bottom line, great doctor, caring, trustworthy and smart!

Saw doc last week. Thought she and her staff were great.

I saw Dr. Plunkett in October 2012- after hearing about her from other patients. She seemed very knowledgeable about thyroid and diabetic disorders (both of which I have). She was compassionate and answered all of my questions. She spent a quite some time reviewing my chart. She wrote her note in front of me-- so that I knew what recommendations my primary care doctor would receive. Glad to have her in the area!

Terrible I saw her and all she could say was I don't know what to say? for half hour she was looking at the computer and she did not give me any suggestions or try to listen to what I had every time I said something she said I don't know? my question is if she didn't know then why am I sitting in front of her and she seemed awfully disturbed with other patients rooms.

I has to wait 45 minutes to get into an exam room and then another 15 minutes until the doctor came into the room. She spent the entire time (15 minutes) staring at her computer screen and not listening to me. She frequently got up an left the room to talk to other doctors about their patients. She determined that there was nothing wrong with me even before she did an exam.She made may snide comments about the symptoms that I was experiencing. She did consent to perform one test and told me that if nothing negative showed in the tests that I would never hear from her. She offered not alternative solutions or recommendations for my aliments.
