I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in all my life at a doctors office. I think walk in clinics provide better customer service. The staff is rude and neglegent to say the least. My TSH levels were out of balance and when I went for follow up labwork nobody contacted me to give me my results. I had to wait weeks and even then I had to call several times & even when I called and expressed my concern I was ignored and not one phone call was returned to me. Finally when I did get a nurse on the phone not the doctor -she was unbelievably rude. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone unless you enjoy being treated poorly. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the nurse letting her know that they were unprofessional and that I would be looking for a new doctor. She did not apologize but instead lied to me by telling me they would give me my normal refill of 100 pills and that she cancelled my next appointment and hung up. I went to the pharmacy and I had a 30 day prescription!!!!
The Doctor actually looked like he was falling asleep while examining me!!!Also I do agree that he must have relatives working for him as they are very unprofessional and rude!!Who would keep employees like that unless one happens to be his wife and his Grandmother. Wouldn't recommend him!!
Dr. Drucker is an excellent doctor. His administrative staff is substandard and has problems with referrals and other paperwork. It is possible that some of the administrative people working for him are relatives which may put Dr. Drucker in a difficult situation. The medical staff are excellent. This situation is unfortunate because Dr. Drucker is a great doctor but he is losing patients because of his incompetent staff.
I had pregnancy induced hyper-thyroidism after my 1st pregnancy. I went to Dr. Drucker and he was very helpful. After about 1.5 years I was pregnant with twins; my thyroid issue went into remission. Not knowing if the hyperthyroidism would go into remission we discussed all possible options: surgery, prescriptions, and radioactibe iodine. I did not want to do the iodine nor did I want to stay on prescriptions. Dr. Drucker was helpful and informative on working with what I wanted to do for a treatment plan. He listened to my concerns (whether he agreed with them or not) and was very helpful.
We were on the fence about this doctor for a while, but eventually, what we considered to be poor care caused us to go elsewhere. We were promptly billed but reluctantly treated. The final straw was when he kept putting off the formation of a treatment plan for a serious endocrine problem. The physician with whom we were coordinating care (to make sure both of their treatments complemented our health needs) made us realize that waiting on treatment could be serious. We became educated to the fact that lack of attention to known endocrine problems can cause other avoidable health issues. We speculate that this doctor has reached a point in his career where he wants to treat only the most routine problems, and appears to have lost interest in the "thinking" part of treating patients. We decided to find an MD who loves his work, and we are now getting top-notch treatment - and feel better!
I saw Dr. Drucker today for the first time and felt he was very nice, caring and professional. He took the time to discuss my health concerns and I feel confident he is a good Dr. to help me with my symptoms and diagnosis.
I have been a patient for years. I had to laugh at the other reviews, for they are correct. I have been in the same situation with the office staff. Once, it was probably about a week before I could get my prescription renewed because they either forgot to tell him or he forgot to call it in. I have learned to be persistent to get what I need from this office. Dr. Drucker is quite the character, and I regularly disagree with some of the things he says and I feel quite comfortable telling him exactly what I think. Despite all this I like him and will probably keep him as my endocrinologist.
Every time I have called the office a different person answers. They have a problem with employees.Different employee every time I have been to office. I often wonder why? Staff seems unprofessional and rude. (Elderly woman-Christine).In waiting area for over an hour. Doctor is odd.
I have been to Dr. Drucker for 3+years, we changed from the other Dr. in the same office and glad I did ,he is very knowledgeable my wife was on actos and almost cost her her legs or life, from the other Dr.!!
Making an appointment with him is the biggest challenge and the office staff is not helpful and challenges why you are even calling them. Dr. Drucker himself seemed very helpful and thorough during the examination. However, it took over 10 days to get my blood work results back (and 3 phone calls). He didn't call me back, his nurse did, so I really didn't get an opportunity to ask any questions. Basically, a waste of my time.
