Dr. Weitzman treated my daughter for a malignant brain tumor in 1986 until we lost her in 1988. She was always very kind and answered all of my questions. My daughter really liked her and it makes a difference when your teenage daughter likes the doctor. It was a very hard time for our family knowing that her chances for survival were very slim. Dr. Weitzman made the journey with us and made it a little easier.

Our son was diagnosed with LCH and Dr. Weitzman was very knowledgeable and put us at ease over the diagnosis and treatment plan. we look forward to our future visits and the opportunity to learn more from her and to ensure our son stays healthy.

Excellent bed-side manner, intelligent and a world -expert in the treatment of rare disease of histiocytosis,for which she treated our child, also treated our child for PTLD after her liver transplant.Genuine willingness to share her knowledge. She is one of SickKids greatest doctors.

In 1982 I was 2 years old she treated me with hystiocytosis At first she didnt know how to treat it so she told my parents to go home and she will call the States that night... The next morning my parents got a phone call to come back so she can work on me.... she is the Greatest Dr.

Dr Weitzman treated my 3 yr old son for leukemia starting in 1987. She is the best. She always made us feel special and never avoided any questions from me. She explained things till I would understand completly. I see she has become quite famous in medical fields and I'm proud to say she was our doctor. My son made it safely through his radiation and chemo and is now 24 years old. I give credit for his recovery to God first followed closely by Dr Weitzman, and the wonderful nurses at Sick Kids Toronto Hospital.

this was a very good doctor our son was diagnosed with leukemia in 2000 and she was his doctor she sat and explained things about the leukemia for hours and very patient,asking us questions and answering questions

This doctor provided us with options and choices that made our daughters chemo and care easier to take. I was a mom who never tired of asking a million questions and Dr. W showed much patience when dealing with me (I could be considered a bit difficult when it comes to the safety of my child).
