Dr. Chan is an amazing doctor. I have been afraid of dentists nearly my whole life and have avoided going for a long time. Reading positive reviews for Dr. Chan after carefully scrutinizing all of the dentists in Calgary prompted me to call his practice. All of his staff are amazing - kind, friendly, patient and non-judgmental. The hygienists I have encountered have been exceptionally warm and caring, and treated me with compassion and understanding. Dr. Chan is a consummate professional and very skilled at his work, but is also friendly, engaging, and funny. Thanks to the very positive experiences I have had thus far (3 trips in total) I will be a lifelong patient. A+s all around for this truly exceptional team.

My family and I are always very happy with the service we receive. It starts with the friendly greeting by the office staff. Dr. Chan always takes the time to explain and making sure we understand, he is very caring and professional.

Three generations of my family have their dental work performed in this office. I have been going to this office for over 30 years (since I was 13) and I will continue going there until Dr. Glenn Chan retires. Dr. Glenn Chan has the ”3 P’s" in his office. No pain, no pressure for procedures, and no problems. Dr. Glenn Chan is a perfectionist and is in control of every situation. He is a friendly, approachable, regular guy that cares about his patients and their families. I trust him and his advise.

If I had to summarize my experiences with Dr. Chan in just a few words I would say he is; gentle, informative, professional, and amiable. He has a great sense of humor and always gives his full attention. I have been going to Dr. Chan for about 15 years now and actually look forward to my visits. My appointments are always on time, and his staff and extremely friendly. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chan. I would drive to Edmonton and back to see him (if that is where he was located) - he is worth the drive any day!

I have been seeing Dr. Chan for almost 20 years. In that time he has always been a pleasant person to deal with. I have never had one complaint about him or the staff. All dental procedures have been preformed in a courtious and professional manner. His knowledge about Bruxism, and how it relates to sleep apnea has been a life saver. With a new dental appliance I have been sleeping better now than I have for years. I look forward to seeing Dr Chan provide exellent service for myself and my family in the future.

I have been a patient with Dr. Chan for about 10 years. My children have seen him routinely and for emergencies after hours. My husband also sees him although he is a little more infrequent with his visits. I have found Dr. Chan to be kind, compassionate and a great listener. He is experienced and gentle and always is I rushed and friendly with us. His team is great also. My hygienist Cindy who I always see is very gentle and experienced. His front end staff are very efficient and handle my insurance claims. One criticism is that his fees are slightly higher than others however in light of the aforementioned comments I know exactly why.

Found this dentist Glenn Chan through this website. My whole family goes to him now. Great guy that spends a good amount of time with us on each visit. Staff is super nice as we have no complaints except that he isn't open Fridays. That's not a big deal for us or our kids. Good job Glenn!

My wife and I recently moved to Calgary and found Dr. Chan and his office using this website. Knowing that he is the top rated dentist, we felt very comfortable in using him. We are pleased to say that this site is correct. Dr Chan is an excellent dentist who took the time to get to know both my wife and me during our initial consultation. His staff were super friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. We were given a very thorough exam and are happy with the results. We are very grateful to find an honest and affordable dental practice in our new city!

We took our 4 yo son to see Glenn Chan.We had two questions.Is there was anything to help stop our son from grinding his teeth and if there was a concern that his teeth were too close together?His response?"An x-ray will answer all your questions"?!I asked him if an x-ray would answer the two questions we had?He responds "no".I ask him what are the indications for giving a 4 yo an x-ray? He says to rule out cavities between his teeth.The hygienist said there were no cavities on her exam.So Glenn recommends our son to have x-rays just to see if he has any cavities when the hygienist stated there were no cavities?!When I told him that we would decline the x-rays, his response was "is it a cost issue"?!Glenn was unprofessional and did not practice standard dental guidelines.The x-rays would have exposed our son to unnecessary radiation.We will not be taking him back to this dentist and further consideration will be given to a formal compliant to the Alberta Dental Association and College.

Yesterday my son knocked his front adult tooth out of place. He was in pain and my husband and I were worried about the tooth as we couldn't push it back into place ourselves. On a Sunday afternoon, Dr. Chan met us at the office and fixed my son's tooth as well as put a retainer on for him. My nine year old felt relief from the pain of the displaced tooth and his smile looks "normal" again. My family and I have been patients at this dental office for over ten years. We will never go anywhere else. Dr. Chan is a kind and careful dentist. We are very grateful!
