My wife's thyroid cancer operation was expected to take about 70-90 minutes. It was much worse than expected and took 5 hours 45 minutes. I do not know how he could have concentrated with such precision and expertise for that length of time. That was 8 years ago and my wife is not cancer free. But where is Dr. Barry now? Does anyone know?

Hi i am i pensioner and when i saw peter i had already seen two other surgens who would not touch the typ of cancer i had and sent me to peter who deals with rear cancer and from the moment i steped in to his office the stress just went and with in the week i was in hospital had my breast removed just like a female would but peter moved mussel from my arm to my breast and it looks fantastic i owe peter more than i could ever pay with cash i owe him my life as i had this lump removed three time prior to this but kept coming back told by other surgens just fatty tissue or scare tissue so as i say get the right man or woman for you illness so once again thanks peter

Dr Barry saved my life - I am still alive after 5 years beign in melanoma stage 4. He is a great sensitive doctor who cares for his patients and takes time with them when he needs to. I coudl not have got through my trauma without him Thank you

Dr. Barry spends more time small talking than he does about his patients health which is probably why his patients are always waiting. Dr. Barry spent very little time with me, 2 minutes literally, and then discharged me without telling me. His receptionists are not responsive and his office is often closed.

Dr. Barry is an excellent Doctor. I was referred to him through another Dr in the same building and I am very happy for the referral. I saw (and still seeing) Dr. Barry since I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I did a double mastectomy and reconstructive and the care and result I got is excellent considering mine are not real boobs :) I highly recommend Dr Barry even though I hope women don't get breast cancer any more (Amen)

Dr Barry treated me for breast cancer and also for melanoma. He performed a lumpectomy on me, the cosmetic result was excellent. He supported me when I refused chemo and radiotherapy. He is very up to date and he answers all your questions. The punctuality is poor only because he talks to his patients, and somehow makes you feel that having cancer isn't a total disaster. He works 12 hour days and is totally dedicated.

My GP tried to put me off selecting Dr Barry -- who knows what kooky competitive reason. This specialist is excellent!! Thorough, polite and so devoted to his cause. He doesn't run on time, but who cares when there is good reason for it -- he does a proper comprehensive consult.

Dr Barry is an excellent surgeon. Very helpful, very thorough and knowledgeable. I went to Dr Barry for parathyroidectomy and he was more helpful than the referring specialist. A lovely man.

This surgeon treated me for breast cancer. He is caring, skillful, up-to-date with modern techniques, thorough and open. I initially asked to be referred to a different surgeon (who could not see me), but I am extremely glad I went to Peter Barry instead. I could not be more happy with my treatment. He went to great lengths to explain exactly what my situation was, and what treatment he recommended and why. He explained every detail of every aspect of the disease and the outcomes he was aiming for, and answered all my questions. The surgery was very successful, I felt quite well very soon after, my scars are very neat, and he made himself available to me during a holiday period when he should have been on leave. I *highly* recommend him.
