Highly recommended! I was diagnosed with prostate cancer with another urologist but I did not feel like my questions were being answered so I looked for a second opinion. I found Dr. Golden and it was a completely different experience. Unlike the first doctor, Dr. Golden listen to my questions and answered each of them thoroughly. The initial consultation took about 45 mins, but I felt as though he would have taken as much time as was necessary to answer any questions I had. The surgery was completely successful and two years later I am cancer free with no side effects.

Dr Golden is a great Dr. and wish he hadn't left Las Vegas,Nevada. Now i must find a new favorite doctor. He has been my doctor since 2008 when i found out i had cancer of the kidney. he has treated me as if i was his only patient and looked after me while i was in the hospital with a set back from my operation. i have seen him on several follow-up appointments and will truly miss him.

I had severe abdominal pains recently and ended up in the Hospital, Brian Golden was my doctor. I was amazed to discover that he goes above and beyond basic care.He listened and worked with me in choosing a treatment plan.He explained my options, told me what he would recommend in my case and answered my questions in easy to understand terms.I trusted him immediately. After discussing the procedure, we decided to take the least invasive plan.Dr. Golden threaded a laser up to my kidney and chipped away at the huge kidney stone.EVERYONE involved came in to talk to me.hen it was time for my surgery, I felt the respect and compassion. While I was waking up, I could hear the nurse talking to me.Over the last few weeks, I have had a stent from kidney to my bladder. It has only caused minor discomfort, but is necessary until the lithotripsy to shatter the rest of the stone. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Golden and highly recommend him.The office staff is 100% rude and offensive.

I'm a 54 year old male with BPH Dr. Golden and staff did a great job. He took his time and explained the procedure of the Green Light Laser. I was in and out of surgery and home within four hours urinating like a young man. Some soreness some blood clotting but no major pain. Thanks Doc.

I am writing this testimonial because I feel strongly about the care that I received from Dr. Golden. Being diagnosed with cancer is an extremely scary and emotional time, for both me and my family. The care, treatment and eventual outcome of the cancer has the ability to consume your every waking thought. Dr. Golden, from the initial consult, was professional, warm, caring and in touch with the mental anguish that I was obsessing about. He treated me and my wife with respect and consideration while helping us through this challenging time in our lives. It goes without saying that he is an extremely skilled surgeon; I exceeded all of the standard milestones of recovery and much to Dr. Golden’s dismay and eventual reprimand, even played softball two weeks after leaving the hospital. I can only express my deepest appreciation for all that he did for me and whole heartedly would recommend him to family and friends alike

I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Golden as my physician. He performed robotic surgery on me in May 2009 for kidney cancer & has provided the followup. My recovery has been amazing. I'm in my 60s & went home four days after surgery. No complications. Dr. Golden has been available & attentive with answering my questions. I highly recommend him. He also showed the same care & concern for my family while I was hospitalized that he showed for me.

I have had kidney stone problems for decades and have had surgery in the past that had left a surgical scar on my right side almost from belly button to backbone. I have not had very good experiences with Urologists in the past, so that had made me quite anxious when the things started causing acute problems again. A friend recommended Dr. Golden since we had recently moved to Northwestern Arizona and no local physicians accepted my insurance. Dr. Golden takes the time to listen to his patients concerns, works with his patients and directly addresses all issues and leaves nothing out. I have found him to be very professional and very thorough. It took four trips to the hospital to rid me of those kidney stones, and I experienced none of the agony of the past. I highly recommend Dr. Golden to anyone with any urological problems. In this modern day and age where everyone is in so much of a rush, Dr. Golden is one who treats the patient, and not just the disease.

elevated PSA, prostate cancer. After reading about radiation and surgery, I opted for robotic prostatectomy. Dr. Golden, who had a great reputation as the expert in Las Vegas, was very upbeat about the chances of a good outcome. I was quite anxious about having surgery, but he made me comfortable with my decision. I was in the hospital just one night, had the catheter for one week. I had some urine leakage for 3 weeks. Since then (mid-2008), I haven't had any problems. My sexual function is as good as it was prior to the surgery! It took about 3 months befor i even tried to see if it would work, and I was pleasantly surprised that it did! I was using Cialis before surgery and continue to use it occasionally with satisfactory results. To be frank, it's not like I'm 20 again, but that's life. Overall, my experience has been quite satisfactory, since my PSA has been undetectable for 2 years, I don't leak urine, and I can have sex. What more could a guy ask for?

Dr. Brian Golden is a fabulous surgeon! My husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2009. He was only 41, and in seemingly excellent health (he’s an ex-pro-volleyball player) when he started urinating blood. Dr. Golden was the specialist called in to care for my husband. After studying all x-rays and scans, he explained everything to us in detail…all pros and cons…all worst and best case scenarios. He was straight forward. He needed to perform surgery and remove the mass. I did extensive research on Dr. Golden to weigh our options, and was confident in my findings. Dr. Golden is a certified specialist, and an expert using the Da Vinci machine, which leaves the smallest scar possible, meaning less damage and a faster recovery time. The surgery went flawlessly! The whole kidney was removed, and my husband’s recovery was rapid. I would highly recommend Dr. Golden to anyone!

This note is my thanks to Dr. Golden for saving most of my left kidney. I lost my right kidney to cancer in 2002. In 2009 my left kidney grew a tumor. I was scared I would be on dialysis machine for the rest of my life. I was referred to Dr. Brian Golden. My primary doctor said he was “EXCELLENT.” Dr. G showed me my CAT scan and the tumor. He described the da Vinci robot and showed me how much of my kidney could be saved. He had a very reassuring bedside manner, was confident (but not arrogant), and answered all my questions. He made me feel comfortable that I’d found the right surgeon for my terrifying situation. The surgery went great! MY KIDNEY WAS WORKING JUST AS WELL AFTER SURGERY. The incisions weren’t very painful and I was out of the hospital in just a day and a half. The pathology report said all the cancer was removed. IF YOU HAVE KIDNEY CANCER, GO SEE DR. GOLDEN. I’M EXTREMELY HAPPY AND THANKFUL THAT I DID. NO DIALYSIS FOR ME! Yeah!!
