Ratings for Dr. Harry D. Harper
Proceed cautiously. Poor bedside manner. Haphazard discussions. Little education unless you poke and prod for information. Long waiting times. Protocol oriented. Must stay on top of all your your own details and make sure you follow up. Worked with him and his staff for 1.5 years due to parents lung cancer. Not one member of our family who visited fornhis appointments regularly could honestly say we felt confident and well cared for - we just kept trusting and forging ahead. Speak with different oncologists and get the right fit and level of confidence and comfort in the doctors approach and patient interaction and bedside manner. Our first impression should've told us to do this but we were nervous and he was supposed to be the best. Good luck.
