Whenever I have had to visit with Dr. Karnam I have always looked forward to our visits. He is genuinely a very attentive and great Dr. His care is always spot on and leaves me and others who I know have seen him comfortable and satisfied with the quality of his care. I was so so grateful to have such a positive experience with a Gastroenterologist finally!!!! I mean, one that knew what was going on with me and cared!!!! The staff was amazing too!! I was greeted warmly by his receptionist. His Medical Assistant (sorry, I can’t remember her name) treated me with such kindness and respect. I was referred to him by a nurse that mentioned that he was very popular in the salt lake and park city areas and I can see why. He took the time and listened to my complicated medical history and current symptoms. I truly feel like he cared about me and my health. I honestly will be referring all of my friends and family to him.

The guy says on his profile he speaks English you better bring a translator because he speaks poor broken English plus he rushes you in and out of his office and never could find out what was wrong with me after several expensive test...in summary the guys a idiot

I have had two endoscopies from this doctor, and he never gave me any helpful information about my IBS. I don't know why he never recommended the low FODMAP diet to me. That would have answered all my questions, but I guess that doesn't pay the bills.

Dr Karnam is the best doctor I’ve worked with. He is full of knowledge and listens to his patients. It’s rare to find a doc that will gameplan and strategize for the right care. I am grateful for the quality of life I know have because of Dr Karnam.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Karnam. 5 years ago I was misdiagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in the ER in Provo. My world came to a crushing halt. The fear of living only 4 months was devastating. Dr. Karnam came highly recommended from the ER Doctor. He gave one look at me and said, Let me do a test. Immediately he came back to me that same visit and told me that I did not have Cancer. So many emotions went through me.. Relief came upon me. During the next year, Dr. Karnam called me every week and still this day he calls me once a month to check how I was doing. HE SAVED MY LIFE. No disrespect to those with bad reviews, however if you read through the comments its more of an insurance issue. My Mom is the most important person to me. And I took her to Dr. Karnam. Stop wasting your time with other doctors and RUN to Dr. Karnam. He is the BEST, most caring doctor you will EVER find. In a world full of doctors that only treat you as simply another patient, Dr. Karnam takes time to find the true problems and cares about you far beyond the exam room. His nickname of the Gut Whisperer fits him to a T. He has turned from being just our GI doctor to a lifelong family friend who we trust our very lives with. We will continue to refer our friends and family to Dr. Karnam. We will be forever grateful to this wonderful man.
