It is impossible to get in to see him and when you do he is so busy to talk to you. I most often go to the walk in clinic so I can get seen before the 3 weeks in advance booking that is required to see him.

Dr. Bantock has been an incredible to me and my family. It is too bad there is not more of him to go around.

Dr. Bantock is an outstanding family physician. He was my family doctor as a child. I sustained a spinal cord injury in my early 20s and was thrust into an unknown world of specialists, complications, and zero ability to advocate for my own health. He was incredibly proactive and thorough, going well above and beyond his responsibilities. He saw me multiple times outside of his office in emergency situations. When I left Kamloops and got new family doctors in my travels, I was shocked at how little most GPs know about neurological impairments. He may be late when you're there to refill a prescription, but he will absolutely be there when you most need it. His patients are the envy of the town.

Dr Bantock is a blessing as our family doctor! Our family couldn't be more happy. One comment not referenced below is his humility. If he is not 100% certain on an answer or approach, he will consult other professionals promptly.

This Doctor was our physician when he was practicing in our small rural town before he left for the city and even afterwards. Recently I tried to get in to see him only to be told by his receptionist (who I might add was,rude and uncaring )that he is not taking new patients. I said we are his patients. She said you are no longer in the computer. Apparently there is a time limit between visits! When asked if we could be put on a waiting list the receptionist said there was no waiting list.I stated that the doctor must loose a certain number of patients each month from people moving away etc and how was it determined who was next in line.She said it was none of my business how it was determined. I have no respect for this Doctor and staff . Is it possible that it's all about who you know and not what you need? After the closing of our small rural hospital Kamloops cannot handle the influx from out lying areas.There is not a single doctor taking new patients in Kamloops.

This man is an excellent Dr. There is no more you could expect, in terms of care, professionalizm and being down to earth. Chip is a good person, that makes him a good doctor. I cannot explain in words how much I appreciate this doctor as our family GP. Thank you Chip Bantock!

Dr. Bantok. is the most proactive physician I have ever had and I'm A nearly 70 and from a medical background.I have a complicated history with more than one problem.Any GP who still delivers babies is bound to be late in the office from time to time. Take a book and be glad you are waiting for sometime this good. His office staff are very polite and nice. His waiting space is small so don't arrive too early. the Lab is next door which is very useful and the building has free parking;however the one disabled space on the street is insufficient.

Chip is the finest doctor that one could ever have. As an ilustration of his character, Chip left a personal engagement to come and deliver our second daughter late at night. The level of care and concern that Chip has shown for our entire family is the envy of each of our friends who know that we have him as a doctor. I count my entire family lucky that we have the most competent and compassionate doctor imaginable.

He's been a great Dr for me and my 2 boys. Sometimes seems distracted due to his work schedule, but in the past, when I have called and wanted to speak to him personally, he has always called and has even met me with one of my kids after hours. That makes all the difference!

Attentive,proactive and organized.Listens well,has a good sense of humor.Always very professional and well groomed. He delivers babies and can sometimes be late for an appointment.
