I was diagnoised with RA at the age of 33 and was under the care of Dr. Koehler. Long story short, he referred me to a great physiotherapist at Rmd. Hospital and prescribed numerous meds until we found the right combination that worked. He was very helpful and I felt fortunate to be under his expert care. I am now pain-free and no longer need to see him, but I am grateful for his expertise and his compassionate care for my condition and how it effected my life. I always felt like I was well looked after by him and his staff.

I found Dr. Koehler to be condescending & unhelpful. He is not open to treatment suggestions from the patient and offered few suggestions of his own except "live with it". If you suffer from fibromyalgia/CFS, ask to be referred to someone else. His staff, however, is friendly & considerate of patient needs.

Dr Koehler has been my DR..for over 10 years and I am proud and thankful I am his patient. He has helped me through the bad times and has always been there when I needed him...I applaud! his dedication and compassion..as a doctor and friend..

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Koehler's for a number years (RA), and he's been most helpful. Now that I am my mother's primary caregiver, he's been very helpful to me as I've sought the best options for her. Even though my mother is in her 80's, Dr.Koehler is still very concerned about her quality of life, and looks for the best treatment methothds.

All of my experiences with Dr. Koehler have been absolutely AWFUL! He is very set in his ways, and does not listen to a thing I suggest! I asked to be referred for hydrotherapy for my Undifferentiated connective tissue disease, and he immediately said no. I explained why I thought it would help my situation and he told me he does not believe it would help me, and then got defensive that I took matters into my own hands and did research. He needs to learn to listen to patients, after all it is THEIR body.

Dr Koehler is the best specialist I have been to see. I have A.S. and he has been treating me ever since I was finally diagnosed, I am extremely happy he is my specialist. he is up to date on all the newest meds and treatments available. He puts his patients first, and that is all you can ask from a great DR.

I was in pain for several years and had seen various specialists before I saw Dr. Koehler. He properly diagnosed me with RA and I am not completely pain-free. He is extremely kind and helpful. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him.

Dr. Koehler is a fantastic doctor! I am so glad that he is my childs doctor. He is the best!

I was diagnosed 4 yrs ago by Dr Koehler to have RA. Personally, I have the highest regard for him and the knowledge that he posses on this disease. I also find his staff extremely pleasant (round trip by bus takes me 6 hrs) and its well worth the trip !!!!!
