This was my first visit with Dr. Calderon and I will not go back. He belittled me when I told him that I would not consider an IUD as a method of contraception. He asked why and when I told him it was for religious reasons he proceeded to lecture me on the definition of death and in a round about way told me that my views regarding the IUD were ridiculous and that he could write 15 books on the matter. This was after he had already told me that I would not be a good candidate for an IUD, so he just wanted to make a point. The nurse came into the room in the middle of the conversation and she did not look comfortable once she heard how he was talking to me. He left me feeling so irked that I got on the net and found this website, which is very helpful. I wish I would have read the other negative post before making an appt with him. By the way, I looked up more information on the IUD after the visit and he was totally WRONG about what he was saying!!

Avoid this excuse for a physician, I am only a college senior and I felt I knew more than him, which is frightening considering that he supposedly has an MD. He tends to treat you like you are wasting his time and he seems not to really care about anything, especially his patients. He is always late and his office will only call you halfway into your commute to inform you that, once again, Dr.Calderon will not be available. I would trust a hospital janitor with more responsibility than I would this so-called professional. Avoid him at all costs, unless you like waiting to be treated like you do not matter.
