He guided my family through the most difficult, life-changing and absolutely earth shattering news of my mom having cancer. We were in complete shock with her being so young, but his attention to her case, advocation for her and care for us all is something we will never forget. He made an impossible time a little bit easier. I’m eternally grateful to him.

Mr Vermuelen displays that characteristics of a coward who is unable to think cohesively or with any human like ability. Mr Vermuelen should not refer to himself as a doctor as he continues to puts patients in harms way.

Dr Vermuelen has a clear lack of ability and professionalism. Unbelievable he was able to obtain any medical credentials.

He is a wonderful Doctor and person! He is seeing my 97 Yr. old Mom at Pasqua Hospital. He is very kind and treats her with compassion. He talks directly to her and make sure that she understands what is going on and what the treatment is. He treats her as a whole person, physical and emotional. He understands the family dynamics and also refers to the family as a whole to help the patient. He is great at geriatrics! Bravo!!!!

Giving him one star would be a compliment. I as well as my mother originally saw Dr. Ready. Dr. Ready lost his wife, and left his practice and Dr. Vermeullen took over his practice. I as well as my mother was on his chopping block when he wanted to get rid of some patients. As far as I am concerned he should have axed patients he acquired after he took over Dr. Ready's practice. If I was Dr. Ready, I would be pissed at him, for not upholding the practice he was given and agreed to look after. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I love love love Dr Vermeulen. I recently. Had my second baby and at my last prenatal visit with him, about 6 weeks before my due date he gave me his cell # to call when I had my baby so that he could come to the hospital to do her check. She was born on a Saturday morning and I called him a couple hours later and he came, when he wasn't even on call to check her over and congratulate my husband and I. He said he was honored to come see us when I thanked him for coming to the hospital on his day off. He always makes me feel important and has been my Dr for 10 or 11 years. I. Hope he never retires!

You are not getting what you first think you are with this doctor. Ask any of us 1000 patients he let go in order to work the hospital. He uses the fact that he is one of few doctors in the city as a bargaining tool. If you are non complient you run the risk of being discharged from his care. Do not question, challenge, or try to be involved in your care...or you can collect your file from the front desk (for a FEE).
