I have had dr tom young in duncan bc for over 4 years. He is by far the kindest most through dr I've ever had. I have severe PTSD and he treats me with tenderness, compassion and excellent medical care. He is also very careful of my physical health, no afraid to tell me the truth and best course of action. Dr tom young is a saint in my humble opinion.

By far, the most ignorant, apathetic, dismissive doctor I have ever come across. I saw him at a walk-in clinic in Prince George in regards to concerning changes in my menstrual cycle. He didn’t ask me any questions about my medical history or symptoms. His solution was to just wait for my cycle to end. I sincerely hope he finds a new profession, hopefully one in which he does not need to be of service to other human beings.

I think someone should check his credentials. There is no way, with the condescending and belittling BS that comes out of his uneducated mouth, that he is a doctor. Ignorance at it's highest!

He is now in Duncan BC. One of the worst experiences with a Doctor I have ever had. He cares more about getting off on time than seeing you. "ONLY WORKS 40 HOURS A WEEK." -His words. Will not answer ANY questions. Will only run tests if you demand it and then won't follow up.

This man is a complete fool. Knows everything about everything, yet has no clue. His ignorance and disrespectfulness is mind-blowing. I would rather talk to a rock, at least you can't get in trouble for knuckling a rock.

I seen him at the walk in for a sinus infection after jaw surgery from being intubated. He asked when my surgery was, telling him is was 4 days previous, he than asked if my glands were swollen, I said they didn’t seem to be. He immediately grabbed my face to feel. I grabbed his hand as he was hurting me from how tender I was from surgery still. I showed him the side of my head with the 6 staples and 8 stitches that went from my temple, down into my ear and all the way down to the bottom of my ear, and he rolled his eyes at me. He’s rude, arrogant and doesn’t care about his patients. I’ve had other members of my family also have horrible experiences with him as well. Do yourself a favour and see anyone else!

DR Young is arrogant, more interested in news articles then treating the here and now. Went off in a tangent about immunization and that was not why I went in. Rude, dismissive and snide.

I saw Dr. Young at the Westshore Urgent Primary Care Centre yesterday. I was very concerned about a mole that appeared, to me, to have turned cancerous (though I do not have the results yet). I was very anxious internally, but Dr. Young was very calm and supportive, which I found really soothing. He went on to state what he believed it was and asked if I would like to have it removed right away. Before the surgery, Dr. Young made sure that I had sufficient freezing, was situated comfortably, and that he had all the necessary tools to do the job properly. The surgery itself was very clean and well done. Following the surgery, he asked if I had any questions, which is always appreciated. Dr. Young was all I could have hoped for yesterday, and I am so thankful that he was there.

Very condescening and rude. I've had multiple clients use him and they all felt more comfortable going to the walk-in. He blows off complaints and seems very smarmy towards patients. He has a very weird, pretentious air about him that makes people feel uncomfortable.

I had Dr young as my physician and he told me he wanted to fire me as he did not have time for people with chronic problems. I have spinal cord injuries so I agreed to fire him also as I need a physician that cares and can treat me. He actually did me a favor as I seen him with older patients and has no patients for them.
