I had a fusion at L5S1 for a grade 3 spondylolisthesis. I am 6 weeks post-op, and other than stiffness, which will improve once I start PT, I am pain free, and off all medications. Dr. Jiang was friendly, and professional. He happily answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him.
I had a C6/C7 cervical fusion on June 28th 2017. It's been two weeks since I've had the surgery and so far I have to thank the good doctor for doing my suregery. The aftermath is less to deal with than the previous pain I endured for many years. I feel fantastic and although I have a few weeks to go before I can do much of anything (which I have to remind myself ) I can't wait to be able to get back to a normal pain free life. Many thanks to the doctor his staff at the clinic and the assistants during surgery. I can't. Thank everyone enough for giving me back my life.
I have a fractured T6 vertebrae and went to see Dr Jiang for his review 8 weeks after my injury. It took about 4 weeks to get in to see him which I understand is fairly quick. When I went in for my appointment, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jiang was also very friendly and reassuring of my concerns and answered all of my questions. He waited until I went through all of my questions and I left that meeting feeling very confident. I cannot comment on his surgical abilities, but his helpfulness in addressing my injury and expectations of recovery were excellent.
I had terrible results with Dr. Jiang. I was in worse pain after surgery than before. I had a medial minicus repair. He did the surgery got paid. Said he was done with me. Come back in 5 yrs and he would do a knee replacement. I wouldn't recommend him to operate on even a dog.
Had surgery for my back after 3 years of suffering very bad Dr HongXing did a fantastic
Dr. Jiang performed a microdiscectomy at L3-L4 in April. I am virtually pain free and the nerve pain/sensation in my right leg is virtually gone. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. My follow up is still a couple of weeks away, but his surgery seems to have done the trick. I am extremely grateful and thankful for Dr. Jiang
In 2010 I dave luck had an mri on my left hip. A dr by the name dr Greg O'Conner said I needed hip replacement surgery. After 3 years of pain management and never ending frustration I moved to a different city and was referred to an orthopaedic surgeon named dr Kozak. He concurred with dr O'Conners assement and said I required surgery. I moved back to Edmonton and was then referred to dr Jaing because dr O'Conner was retiring. I just saw dr Jaing this morning. He was laughing at me and told me I didn't need surgery. So then based on an mri and the fact that 2 other surgeons said based on my mri that I do need surgery he has gone against the diagnosis of 2 other professionals saying I don't need hip surgery and even went so far as to laugh at me. Eff you dr Jaing! Your an imbecile! Your not fit to preform surgery with a hatful attitude that you portrayed. I've clearly been diagnosed by 2 actual surgeons as to needing surgery. You clearly have been bought by the same criminals who have been purposely trying to destroy me you dick head racist.
Dr. Jaing and his staff are wonderful, the surgery was a success!
I had a spinal cord injury in 2013. It was a L3/L4 tear, L4/L5 major herniation and a L5/S1 small herniation. Immediately I lost feeling in my right leg which quickly turned into losing all the feeling below my waist. I lost bladder and bowel control and was diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome. I had emergency surgery (microdiscectomy) that day from Dr Jiang and because of how violent the injury was the recovery was very long. I was able to walk again after a month and had to wear leg braces for about 8 months after. Thankfully I regained bladder and bowel control. I was in a considerable amount of pain (shooting leg pain) for almost 2 and a half years afterwards. I was not getting any answers from my family Dr. He did not think another MRI would solve the problem. I met with Dr Jiang again and he immediately wanted me to receive another MRI. From there it showed the small herniation at my L5/S1 site had turned massive and was the source of my pain. I had another microdiscectomy that day and I can not thank him enough for his work. Honestly, I felt like I had a new pair of legs. The pain I in was immediately better after surgery, and I can not tell you how thankful I am for his services. He gave me lift back and would recommend him for anyone in a similar situation. Excellent, and thank you.
While doing a bad manoeuvre shovelling heavy snow, I severally hurt my weak back. Several months later both of my feet became so numb that I could barely walk. My doctor had me have an MRI and then referred me to Dr. Jiang. So as to avoid being cripled for life it was urgent for me to quickly have 2 procedures done on lumbars 4 and 5. I was in extreme pain and walking with a cane and great difficulty. Fortunetely, before being down for life, a spot was alocated for me to have surgery. I went to the hospital in a wheel chair and the next day had surgery at about noon and that afternoon got out of bed, by myself, and walked a few feet without assistance. The nurse and my brother who were both there at this moment were very impressed. The extreme numbness in my feet was practically all gone. Like a miracle, the next day, I walked out of the hospital with very high regards for Dr. Jiang. He is the best. I would refer him to anyone. Even though he is very busy and doesn't have time for nonsense I found him to be very knowledgeable and caring. He is obviously under a lot of pressure having so many patients. How lucky may one be.
