Perhaps Michael Power is a nice person when you know him personally, so I don't want to judge him as a human being in general but as a doctor only. I went to see this doctor probably 5 or 6 times. He is cold and uncaring and had absolutely no compassion or empathy. You may only talk about one issue at a time. When I talked to him while at one of the lowest points of my life he literally told me to look in the yellow pages of the phone book for the help I needed. I cried on the drive home. As a doctor Michael Power has zero humility or respect for his patients. He is worried only about the dollars and not to actually help the people who may be in desperate need of it. Worst experience I've ever had with a medical professional.

Dr. Power is an excellent physician - competent, efficient, and thorough. I'm very thankful to have Dr. Power as my family doctor.

This Dr sees patients one problem at a time. Never as a person. Rude and no compassion. Very disappointed in his approach to the care of my elderly parents.

All he cares about is money. He treats you like dirt, and is extremely rude. Worst Doctor I ever had. I actually had my name removed as his patient and would much rather wait six house at the ER with a friendly doctor then wait 1 minute in his office. I have been trying to get him to sign a form for months and he has a, last appointment of the last day of the month, rule for forms. Complete joke! Do yourself a favour and avoid at all cost!!

This guy is a complete clown, avoid him at all costs. All he cares about is $$. Just a matter of time until he leaves the province and all his patients high and dry again.

We are so thankful to finally have a family doctor! After spending years on the waiting list and bringing my 4 year old to walk in clinics we are so grateful to have Dr. Power. Yes, he does get down to business but I appreciate that, I'm not going in looking for a shoulder to cry on, and because of this he is always on time with the appointments which I also appreciate. He explains everything well to me and is wonderful with my daughter, I hope he is here to stay.

By far the worst doctor I have ever met, he doesn't even acknowledge you when he walks in the room, just stares at the computer and makes zero connection. Horrible with kids. I would rather sit hours in the duty clinic than go back to him.

My 4 year old son and I have been seeing Dr. Power since late 2018 after my Family Doctor retired. He has always been very thorough and never afraid to do further testing or refer to a Specialist. No, he is not warm and cozy necessarily, but that's not his job. He is quick to get an appointment with, the wait is never long and the issue is addressed. He doesn't have time to sit and chat for 20 minutes, but he listens and does what needs to be done.

Very robotic and his rules of one visit, one issue; we’ll just absurd and illustrates nothing but greed! I realize doctors are underpaid for the time and education they have obtained but most of them have absolutely no regard for the OATH they took upon entering med school. Difficult to get in to see a doctor and then they tell you oh no we can’t discuss your arm today as I just treated you for your foot, you’ll have to make a new appointment for that. Wow, how unbelievable is that. Here we are the taxpayers being raped initially by the government and then dismissed by the physician. All you want is to get well and go back to work but the lack of care treatment resources is appalling. However, we can put in as many drug treatment facilities in place as is necessary, train staff, police, paramedics, firefighters, etc to administer life saving drugs to addicts who normally pay no taxes and are of little benefit to society as a whole. Now, try to get an MRI to determine the extent of an injury to safely return to work, forget it. You will have to become an addict and then someone may treat you. My advice, go get your doctor to give you painkillers, get addicted to them and then you can get into rehab where you may also get your MRI! The other option is to see your prescription to pay for the MRI privately. What a system we have! Good luck getting help.
