Ratings for Dr. Clark E. Philogene
Dr Philogene has been my doctor for about twenty yrs (give or take), reading other comments I strongly am satisfied with him as far him being a great doctor..............but his staff is getting worse and the wait time is ridiculous. I also agree with the fact that at one time whenever you have any issues and need to speak to him personally he would return your call, not anymore. After all these years I hope his staff will not push me to find another doctor.
The wait is horrible. Expect to be there about 3 hours before you see the doctor. The wait in the office is the worst. Dr. Phylogeny use to return his patients calls now that doesn't happen anymore. He is a hands on Dr and when you finally see him face to face he treats you like you expect to be treated.
The most unprofessional staff I ever have seen. The front desk nurses ignore you and make believe you don't exist. When calling the office they usually hang up on your face. I hated the staff so much. Dr. Philogene time to make some change and put people with nice manners to work with you!! So disrespectful with the patients!
Dr. Philogene is a wonderful Dr but his staff consist of some of the most disrespectful unprofessional people I have ever met. Once you get past the front lines and actually see the Dr your experience is pleasant but when dealing with his nursing staff and any other assistants it is complete chaos. If you get bloodwork done that has been the worst experience for me there.
Dr. Philogene's office is shared w/ a pediatric practice. The office staff and waiting room are not indicative of a professional environment and reflect very negatively upon him. The wait are needs to be separated nd updated to accomodate his patience versus that of the other physicians sharing the space. He provides good care, but because his staff is so incompetent it makes one question is it them or is it him? Emergency/after hours care is lacking tremendously. He appears to be a little prescription happy as well. Free samples flow like water from his medicine cabinets. He is easy to talk to and takes a lot of time w/ his patients, thus the long waiting time in the lobby and examination rooms. Also patient privacy is a concern. Exam rooms have computers that are not password protected. I looked up my own records while waiting for him to enter the exam room. want to know someone's med history, just type in their name! Not smart Dr. Philogene!
