Don't annoy her with your problems! The more you push - the more she'll ignore you. She has no interest in talking with you about normal health issues. She only wants to be a hero.

Every negative comment that has been said about her is absolutely true. Not supportive, negative, rude, judgemental, doesn't advocate to pursue cancer test when the family history presents a high risk factor, accused patient of lying, full of her own self importance, too busy to give the time you need. Be careful about putting your heathcare in her hands. Couldn't wait to find another Dr and thankfully did!

I think I will be making a formal complaint with CPSO. I have an ongoing issue that makes life very difficult for me. This doctor has given up on me and has not nor will not help in finding alternatives. I feel very discriminated by her.

Jayne Davis is an excellent doctor. My family and I have been under her care for more than 20 years. She is very responsive and goes the extra mile when you are sick. Dr. Davis has consistently referred our family to excellent specialists as needed. Her long time assistant Rosa is also excellent ~ very helpful and efficient. They both work very hard. Yes sometimes we have to wait ~ usually because other patients take more time than expected . If you are sick Jayne has your back!

If you want honesty this is the GP to see, she is very knowledgeable and is constantly learning. I have never had any issues with her or anyone in her office, they are nothing but approachable and helpful. I travel 30km's each way just to see her. She has helped me immensely and always hears me out, I value her advice and suggestions.

As others have pointed out, the women who work here, from the receptionist to Dr Davis herself are astonishingly lazy, spiteful, incompetent, unpleasant grifters, who want to avoid doing any and all work at any cost — including the health of their patients. Avoid them at all costs.

Nightmare women, Jayne Davis and her receptionist. You can’t ask them to do anything, especially not treat their patients like human beings. Abusive, terrible, miserable people. Never encountered adults so petty and so inappropriate in a professional setting.

She knows her stuff, provides appropriate referrals, honest and to the point.

I saw Dr Davis on very short notice. She was the after hours contact for my family doctor who wouldn’t be available for at least 3 days. I found her to be attentive to my concerns- did all the necessary screenings wrote me a scrip and encouraged me to return if the situation worsened. I would highly recommend this physician.

wow… I certainly feel less alone in how absolutely horrible Dr Davis makes me feel. I am glad that it is well established on this page how unbelievably rude and unacceptable Jayne Davis’ behaviour is. And that she does not like doing her job. I agree completely with both points. I will also add, because I haven’t seen it posted here, the waiting room situation is insane. She has a waiting room attached to her office but she doesn’t let you wait in it (at first) because of Covid, she asks you to wait in a busy, loud public lobby with no seating for literally hours on end. You can’t go somewhere and come back, because if you ask for an estimate of time you are basically hung up on by the receptionist. They see no problem with this. And since the general vibe is that they don’t see their patients as human, I guess that shouldn’t surprise. Last time I was there in the lobby for so long (nearly 3 hours) and as a youngish woman standing there alone I was approached by multiple men I didn’t wish to engage with and essentially trapped. Then eventually the receptionist calls you and you go up to her office where there is - lo and behold - a waiting room, the one you “can’t wait in” because of “Covid”! Except then you sit there and wait for another couple of hours. I have an appointment soon and am literally gearing up, gathering the strength to have one of the most demeaning days. Ps yes it’s true this woman would rather eat paste than screen anyone for cancers that run in their family
