I have been a patient of Dr. Giselle Seron (formerly Lawrence-Patel) for about 4 years now. She is an okay/mediocre doctor when you don't have any health issues and are just going for routine check-ups. When you have real health concerns however, she is quick to prescribe medication to get rid of symptoms without figuring out the cause. If you have reoccurring issues, she does not make the connection with your history and does not want to put any effort into finding the root cause of your issues. She even suggests taking supplements without doing any tests. When she's not prescribing, she's not very knowledgeable or helpful, and is always in a rush to push you out. She's already opening and walking out the door when I still have concerns I want addressed. The clinic staff at Square One Medical are rude, curt, and unfriendly. They overbook and are very money-minded. I once went for a walk-in and due to a staff's negligence for patients' privacy, she left the computer screen in the doctor's room visible. I saw that there were three patients booked in for the same time slot. If you need to book an appointment, you won't be able to get one for at least TWO WEEKS. Even for just a phone appointment. If you have an in-person appointment already booked, you can still end up waiting for an hour for your turn. Don't be fooled by the good reviews. This is a family-run clinic and some of their patients are family and friends. If you look at their website, https://squareonemed.ca, the director of the clinic has the same last name as Dr. Giselle Seron. She even brings her son to work. Stay away.

i went there as a walk in, staff does not have any idea, the old lady is sitting and giving everyone orders, what they have to do, waited almost 1 hr and after that they told me i have to see another male dr , when i asked you should have given me the choice ahead of the time, and that old lady comes and gives me the lecture, seems they don't care of the business.very poorly managed. i will not recommend any one
