I found Dr. Rombauts to be unbelievably rude, judgemental, disrespectful and insensitive. There were many things that formed this view. Some stand out experiences were asking him, mid embryo transfer, if the pain in my shoulder tip when breathing in was anything to worry about. He said no and, "You've probably just put on weight. Try getting some scales and a tape measure". [ I am not over weight-and whether I was or not, still an incredibly rude thing to say ]. He said made an unfair judgement call that I shouldn't be able to have the transfer that I was booked in for because I said I had a slightly sore throat which I said was due to being dehydrated. This was quite upsetting and stressful. I ended up being able to do it the next day, compromised as it was by the stress the experience had induced, and he called me, unsolicited afterwards to say, "It's good that you ended up being able to have the transfer. It's probably not going to work though but anyway.." He said this to me on the phone as I drove home from the appointment! None of the 9 embryos worked. Never up having a child. I got pregnant after this naturally but there were chromosomal abnormalities. He found out through my GP and called me, unsolicited, and told me that I should go ahead and have it because, "it's your best chance of ever having a child because, after all, I'M NOT A MAGICIAN".. I was 41 at the time. Unbelievable! And with such smugness and thinking himself a God. So I definitely wouldn't recommend. And if you're over 40- forget about it cause "after all, he's not a magician". And he's more interested in research than patient care and outcomes. [ That and money ]

A compassionate doctor who assisted me more than what he needed to. He was also very gentle when performing cyst drainages with no pain afterwards, unlike some other doctors.

After a horrible experience with another ivf specialist we came to dr rombauts for help. He was absolutely fantastic and explained everything to us and was honest. We’ve just had our first child after 1 round of ivf would highly recommend him to anyone going through the ivf journey.

Prof. Luk Rombauts, has been our IVF specialist for a decade this year. We have two children and currently trying for our third. An amazing, knowledgeable man with a wonderful bedside manner. We consider him family as without him we wouldn't have one. Highly recommended to anyone experiencing fertility issues. A big thank you.👍 To the genius Professor Luk Rombauts.

An outstanding medical doctor who is not only lovely but goes beyond his call of duty. Faced with stage one uterine cancer a few years ago, if it wasn't for Luk my dreams on becoming a mum would never have come true. Such a credit to the medical profession. I would recommend Luk to anyone who desperately wants to become a parent. Keryn his receptionist is absolutely lovely too.

Didn't communicate and prescribed the wrong treatment. I wouldn't recommend

Kerryn Luk's receptionist is lovely. So is Luk. I'd had conceived on my 1st IVF cycle with my son I yhrn had another 15 cycles with the same doctor to no avail before moving to Luk. Luk explained all of my options and got me pregnant on my next cycle. I miscarried but another 2 cycles with Luk and I sm currently 36 weeks pregnant! Thanks to Luk!
