Destroyed new crowns and bridges. Pulled new crowned & bridges, I assume for the money. He was asked to confer with my Neurologist before doing any invasive work. Weir he disinterested! I suffered 4 years with the pain he caused. I have been to 2 other dentist. They did get my medical records. Watch add on yo correct errors on your chart!! Bad choice for me. 😒😒

I had horrible dental problems for years and ended up needing dentures. I knew someone who recommended Dr Swan and he had dentures and you could not tell. I went and after many, many bad dentists, I knew a pro right away. Dr Tim is a pro and the most personable dentist I have ever gone to. And he has fresh breath; something many dentists lack. He quickly evaluated my problems and within 3 visits over 1 month, I left with a very reasonably priced set of dentures! I am not shy and whenever I tell people I have dentures, they are shocked and want my dentists name. My visits took a bit of time and Dr Swan and I spoke about rock and roll; he knows his stuff there also. I had not seen him in years because from the start, my dentures fit perfectly, but as life would have it, one day I clumsily dropped my bottom on the stone floor and it broke it two. I called and was fit it that same day. He took the bottom denture and did a mold and sent it off to the lab. They were able to mold a reinforced wire between the 2 pieces and molded it so well that, if I couldn't see the wire, I wouldn't know it was there. I don't have insurance and when I picked up the denture (The next day by the way) my bill was under $100. It has been another problem free 5 years since then. I do not know where a couple bad reviews come from because Dr Swan and all his staff are personable top notch professionals---and nice people. In fact, Dr Swan and I are friends on Facebook. One of the good guys and a heck-of-a dentist!

Staff is awful and cleaning is not thorough. The staff has no clue about insurance either.

I have been going to Dr. Swan since before his office moved from Kenner to Metairie. I absolutely love him and all of his staff. Everyone is always so nice and greet you upon arrival. Dr. Swan is very knowledgeable and doesn't leave you in the dark on what he is going to do, etc. I overpaid for some fillings I had done (new insurance/some confusion on my end) and when I called, they immediately offered to cut me a check/keep the credit on my account.

Awful is all I can say. Not a pediatric dentist. Do not go here. There is a reason this dentist is on the worst dental plans out there. He and the staff are very unprofessional if you question something. The staff obviously portrays the dentists attitude. They can put on a great show until you need something like an appointment for someone in pain and they refuse to fit you in for a week! Stay Away!!!

Dr. Swan has been my dentist since Sept. 2000...he did two root canals and a filling back in 2000...since then I make it a habit to have my teeth cleaned 4 times a year and in the past 9 years I have had NO cavities to be filled!...he will check my teeth after each cleaning, do x-rays when necessary, will sand down my molars when I seem to be scraping them on the inside of my mouth...he is very caring, patient, personable and most of all knowledgeable!...my husband has also started going with me 4 times a year for a cleaning!

It is a shame that I was never able to see this dentist, seemed to have good reviews. I never made it past the inexperienced front desk clerk. The clerk was completely unknowledgeable about insurance matters. They expected me to pay full billed charges for my visit prior to seeing the dentist, even though I was in-network (not to mention, a clear violation of their provider contract with the insurance company). If you have insurance I would stay away from this place, they have no clue what they are doing.

Although the office setup is a bit unconventional (open floor plan), I really thought it was neat - I liked it. First time I've seen him, and LOVED him. He is very patient, and doesn't rush you - thorough in his explainations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
