Ashamed to have been your colleague. Ashamed to work under a governing body that allows for known predators to return to work after multiple victims have come forward. Ashamed to be a part of a community of doctors that you are allowed to work within. The public is not safe in your dirty hands.

Disgrace of a human being. I had unfortunately been working with this animal, unknowingly he was sexually propositioning patients and my staff all the while I was there. Once new staff member went on her honeymoon with her new husband, and he was messaging her and harassing her - needless to say, she resigned and never returned. Other horror stories form my team who reset his consult rooms at the end of the day, and would find discarded condoms and wrappers in his bin under the desk. He stalked our PR person to the point where he was parked outside of her house at nights and would "run into her" coincidentally - this guy is a creep and I am very happy to see he has been de-registered. He is a predator in every way!

Relieved to hear that this man is no longer allowed to practice medicine. The scars I carry due to his professional misconduct are enormous. I have no faith in doctors anymore.

Shaun is an excellent doctor and diagnostician. The people who hate on this site have no place as it is a profession review site and not some frat bully platform! To all the trolls posting you should look at yourselves and your sad lives and not blame others for yours misgivings. Rather see a psychologist instead !!

I have been treated by Dr Segal for many years now, He is a skin cancer specialist who is most knowledgeable in this field of medicine. Dr Segal has also a tremendous personality which makes one feel relaxed and comfortable even during operating procedures in surgery and he enjoys good humour.

To March 9 commenter: he is not, and was never, a skin specialist. As a medical professional, I have direct knowledge of his practice. IMO you would be unwise to allow him to see you again, if, heaven forfend, he should be re-registered (and permitted to see female patients).

To the woman who clearly struggles with internalised misogyny - you’re right the HCCC is not a criminal court, it is a professional court who deemed him Segal unfit to practice due to his proven misconduct. Let’s pray that he never has the opportunity to harm members of the public again. In response to your comment about defamation, the only person that is responsible for reputational damage is Segal himself. He made his bed (quite literally), he can lie in it.

The HCCC is not a criminal court. Be aware of defamation laws. They do apply to online statements. Doctor Segal is an excellent skin cancer doctor. I am a female patient whose life was saved by his knowledge and expertise in treating melanomas. Other skin specialists I have seen simply do not compare in terms of thoroughness and technique. I, for one, hope that his licence is restored so that he can go on treating people like myself who are afflicted by skin cancers.
